Well said, I just hope the talk of interested parties wanting to buy into the club is true, as I have little faith in our present owners, if what is being mentioned on this thread is true, the club’s reputation is really going to be dire in football circles when it comes to future dealings. It already is. Didn't we here our name was mud after the JCH transfer saga? That no one would want to deal with us now etc. Then we broke our transfer record during the summer. According to others Taylor didn't know we were surviving signing Forde. So the owner had enough contacts to push that deal through. At the end of the day, money talks. If we offer a player or manager more than another club, the agents will soon want to deal with the owners. I've heard that a lot of these facts have come from one source, who wants to find new owners as he's not happy with what happened since the takeover and investment. I would like to hear the other side as well.

IF ONLY we had a decent local press. The first question I would ask Matt Taylor
"Given all the rumours circulating on social media this week, can you give Rovers supporters any reassurance that there is a united front at Rovers, on and off the pitch?
Unfortunately, the boy Hargraves is a ...a boy and Radio Bristol don't believe in real journalism when it gets...real.

I've said multiple times we need better facilities, we don't communicate enough and that if someone better comes along I would be happy. You don't need to say the same thing every time, when ever I say anything. I just said I would like to hear the other side. There are two sides to every story. The side I heard is bad, I always like to look at both sides though. I think most think that they are one of the only few that a certain person talks to. I hear information from that person. I would also like to hear the other side. Do you not want to know their reasoning, what they think of the other board members, why they are cutting certain people out etc.

He’s not Voldermort. You’d have to be pretty stupid to have not figured it out anyway. I have a feeling on why it’s being done but that’s just my feeling so wouldn’t be right to put it on here as it is just an opinion

I would like to hear the other side as well. Ask Darragh MacAnthony if he'd deal with us again. Ipswich reported us to the EFL for not paying for Baggot which nearly ended in us having a transfer embargo at the last window. Perhaps may be some of the reason. But I've had too many people within our club and footballing circles, who would have no real justifiable reason for any loyalty to Wael, to carbon copy mention all the things that have been posted. Bear in mind, some of these things arent recent, they have been going on for months. The club owe me money from August 2023. I hear Total Print are owed £50k and are over 90 days. There is just too much going on for it to be smoke and mirrors, conjecture and opinion with unwavering loyalty. I think it's a total cluster from ever side and it smacks of incompetence and inexperience.

I've have been told, from 2 very good sources:: Post Huddersfield, Hussain wanted to sack Taylor and Abdul and George Friend met with Gary Rowett. After interviewing him, they asked him to be our manager and would he accept terms not using his agent (Wasserman). Rowett said no, the agent must be used so they made him an offer via Wasserman which was derisory and he turned it down. Wasserman then informed the club that Matt Taylor is also under their instruction and they also have a duty of care towards him and have to inform him that his current employment may be terminated. They also informed all Wasserman first team players that they may have a change of manager shortly hence them all asking MT what was going on at training the next day. I have also had it confirmed that another L1 club who is currently looking for another manager interviewed Gareth Ainsworth and he told them that he was also under consideration at....Bristol Rovers. How disrespectful can you be to your current manager, 2 prospective managers and the biggest agency in football all in one go. I've got no issues in sounding out a manager, eg, make a phone call to see if it's something they would be interested in, but to offer a job when your current manager is in situ and being dumb enough to think that Wasserman wouldn't say anything is just incompetence of the highest order. So when I say that Abdul is completely illiterate at being a CEO and needs help, this highlights exactly why. It would also help if we paid a few bills, it might stop us being reported to the EFL for non payment of transfer fees too. I thought that Wasserman were tainted by the Scouse Mafia, and a couple of years ago people were moaning that Barton only signed Wesserman players. Now they are the good guys? It's hard to keep up! Interesting info by the way, thanks for putting some meat on the bones. i guess it's a case of "watch this space".

Good grief. Apologies for starting this thread to one and all. It was just something that was mentioned to one of our group on Saturday and it seemed so far fetched and to be honest, still does to me. Hopefully those that have posted rumour as fact on subsequent posts to the original are happy they KNOW the truth. As for Kuwait. Hellhole. The folk my mob worked with were like any other group of people worldwide...genuine, hospitable and keen to learn. Their "leaders" however were vile and had a degree of self entitlement rarely seen outside of Kensington. Good luck to Mr T. He seems a very honourable chap. UTF(Kuwati free)G.🏴☠️ Don’t worry about it Dr. F. With what others have since said they wouldn’t have been able to sit on it anyway. It would have been out by now. And, Tuesdays are a really quiet night on telly so you’ve provided the entertainment. Win win! 👍 UTG!

Unless we're saying hey, let's crowdfund Chris Swift's salary to have him stand up and ask the big Qs - which wouldn't work given that sport likely covers half their engagement.

Whatever happens now feel sorry for Matt Taylor, the fan base have been divided since JB was appointed and there are still divisions amongst us, we all want what's best for the Gas, I'm inclined to want to stick with Matt and let him see out his contract.
Three reasons he seems a decent bloke, players are trying for him, and thirdly we cannot keep wasting money paying off Managers, their coaching teams etc.
Boards make odd decisions look at Cov, Mark Robbins did amazing work there.

Since Higgs sold up, it's fair to say that two managers definitely had the run of the club in the way that you'd expect a manager to have in order to succeed.
DC - Did - OK he had to sell talent but he ran the football side until his mate was installed as DOF. GC - Didn't - Liam Scales anyone?
BG - Didn't - Oztumer is Exhibit A here
PT - Hard to know - Didn't last long enough
JB - Absolutely did - mates installed all over the shop including the board, people disappeared for not meeting his approval
MT - Clearly not if this thread is to be believed.
I know a common theme of this thread is Hussein Bad, Wael Good, as if one bloke with no experience playing fantasy chairman with his dad, not keeping promises, running up 7 figure losses every year with a bit of minor building work to show for it, is better than another.
But the issue is that both families, if they had brains and if this wasn't just a train set for bored sons of wealthy men to play with, would've found an experienced person in the industry to run the football side, and let them do it.
