Who saw the people trying to climb over a shed into the ground behind the west stand from someone’s back garden? Those were escaped prisoners from Horfield prison they missed Rovers so much caught and put up at Leyhill

Genuine question, if Taylor was sacked tonight, how would you feel? Not quite dancing in the streets, but greatly relieved.

I thought Crawley were the best footballing side seen at the Mem this season camara their number 12 was excellent he was absolutely everywhere.
We should certainly about him in January swap for Thomas ?

We can’t press when we are carrying an unfit and overweight centre forward - no doubting he’s a great finisher but when we’re out of possession he’s a liability to the team. Like Akinfenwa or Harry Kane? The point was why try and press as a unit when you are carrying a passenger. McCormick trying to do the work of 2 men is pretty pointless. FWIW never thought Akinfenwa was any good but Kane is still world class.

I love the assumption that sack Taylor and we'll shoot up the league. We're not doing amazing but not terrible either. Unless we look in serious trouble then I believe we need to stick with MT and see how he gets on. Especially as we should have a near full strength squad to choose from soon.
There's so much entitlement from some gasheads, who forget what doing sh** really means.

I think most who wouldn’t be sad to see the back of MT think that way because of poor results, poor performances and not having much faith (after 11 months and a good budget) that he is ever likely to turn things around and make us competitive at the other end of the table. With tough fixtures ahead I’m fearful we’ll go in to the new year looking worryingly over our shoulders - although judging by other threads we have plenty of other issues to worry about too!

The saying let the ball do the work is still true, we were totally shattered second half, that's the problem with the press, we can't keep it up all game. Omechere was limping within minutes of coming on, Thomas didn't look interested, the subs made us weaker. As for Crawley, they'll be relegated, the poorest I've seen this season and we were lucky to get a point. We can’t press when we are carrying an unfit and overweight centre forward - no doubting he’s a great finisher but when we’re out of possession he’s a liability to the team. Should of been released and free up the wages at the end of the season.

Thanks to CM we beat WSM, it's hardly his fault we got a cr@p draw, and a point v Lincoln & Crawley, without we could have well lost both given how poor we were in the second half without him.

MT was hopeless last season even though AM didn't do too bad with the same players, and he's been no better this season, not sure we'll ever have a fully fit squad, as soon as one player returns we seem to lose another one. As ever get ever closed to January the owners are going to have to decide whether to back MT with more transfer funds or appoint a replacement, if they really where thinking about appointing Gary Rowett then I doubt today's second half performance has changed their minds.

We’re 14th ffs Comparing MT to Garner is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read as well. Garner took us from 3rd to 14th in weeks. When Taylor took over we were 12th and now we’re 14th. 2nd half was poor, but my god you’d think the world had ended

Jan transfer window is never a time to splash the cash regardless of the manager. Sacking managers and spending money is not the answer to all football's problems. In fact it can create further problems.

Never a more apt phrase than game of two halves for that today. We were excellent first half and should of been out of sight. Crawley looked every bit a relegation team after 45 minutes. Second half was completely different we were abysmal and Crawley were excellent, was nice to watch a team playing decent football at the MEM for a change. Luke McCormick often vilified was quite rightly given man of the match he was terrific as was Connor Taylor. If Crawley can get a decent number 9 in January they will stay up they were much better than the other bottom four sides we have seen this season. As a side note I watched Exeter v Lincoln earlier and first half Rovers second half Crawley were much better than both of them we just need to find that 90 minute consistency. The Exeter game was poor, highlights were the 2 red cards

Frustrating really, as we should have been out of sight in the first half, if it wasn't for their keeper probably could have gone in at halftime 4 nil up.

I agree, should have been three up after ten minutes. Didn't take the chances and then the entire team becomes anxious in front of goal. What is a worry, if Crawley were in the National League they would finish mid table or even lower third.

Breaking your leg at 36 is always going to be a concern, perhaps the new potential owners will have a glass ball so they can see into the future?

Were there less than 7k today? I didn’t think Crawley brought 500. Even if there was, it doesn’t prove anything. It proves our floating fanbase only attend the big games / when we’re at the top of our game. We’re 14th and a genuine 14th. Today’s game puts us on the same games as everyone else. We’ve played 8 home and 7 away ffs, please do look at the table before posting.

What is a worry, if Crawley were in the National League they would finish mid table or even lower third. Why would they when they were promoted from L2 last season and are only a win away from being outside the drop zone, they are hardly hopelessly cut a drift at the bottom of L1. They probably performed today like they have been recently, plenty of possession and a number of chances they didn't convert, if they start converting teams like Rovers could be in trouble, as they could be if Ainsworth works his magic at Shrewsbury.
