Good work this summer so far by the owners, they sell CT & KS for £1m+ and then sign a CB on loan with limited EFL experience!! You have to sense we really are mugs as fans. I'll been trying to tell you this since the January window ! . In fact it was me who said the " wind-down is happening as opposed to Burton who are like wild men targeting Wrexham" .

I think the trouble with the January window and lack of signings was that we had already spunked a reported 500k up the wall on a striker who wasn’t fit and was crap when he was.

Hussain AlSaeed, Abdul AlSaeed, Hani Al Qadi, Wael Al Qadi, Nick Higgs, Barry Bradshaw, need I go on... I mean even Kassam built a stadium, we enter the fishing pond for new owners every so often and always come up with old boots and toxic waste.

So many even tiny local clubs improving their facilites down here,I despair sometimes. No real comparison I know, but our Disabled facilities are so below par .

The disabled facilities are among the most shameful aspects, alongside the loos we expect women and kids to use. Forget new ground lip service - this is the stuff the new fan group need to bang the drum on. It's basics.

How about requesting a freedom of information enquiry regarding g the east stand ? I dont think freedom of information is possible for a private limited company. A request about details held of an individual can be requested under the data protection act (as long as you are that individual).

Remember TG saying what an inclusive club we were with the brail kits then 2 days later not fulfilling the concept of building a safe area for disabled fans. Maybe that is what the gap was for (A vertical lift)?

Apart from the Quarters (for sale at the right price) and perhaps the refurbishment of the Thatchers bars a few years back, most of the improvements have been shoddy, second rate or laughable. From the disabled area knocked up with a bit of 4bee2 from B&Q, to the new hand driers in the same old bogs, to the uncovered fanzone, to the new stand with lots of pillars but no facilities and definitely no hot or cold items.

When there is no communication fans will think the worst, based evidencially on past projects, the fans consultation group can only ask the question, would have been nice to hear a date for some plans to be released.
The idea that giving Horfield rose an early heads up is plausible, however we are bound to receive objections from local residents anyway, so it might have been prudent to just announce our plans.
The bad performances over the past 15 matches, has not helped either.
I cannot see a good ending I'm afraid.

Or it's being used not to give the Horfield tree huggers a head start, we just don't know the answer to that point. I took that theory apart last week on every level on which you presented it. A pre planning application has to be carried out which is then publicly notified on the council website before a full planning application is submitted. If there has been full consultation with local residents which Hussain said has happened (could be another lie to add to the list, but let's assume here he's telling the truth) then the residents will already know our intentions of development. Then once it goes to full planning, There are then 21 days to raise objections to any application which is more than enough time to mobilise and create an opposition group, which could appeal a successful application it and move it to JR, which we saw with the Sainsbury's development. You really haven't a clue about planning laws if you think a pre planninging application as to be made, whilst on something of the scale planned it would be wise there's no laws requiring such an application to be made, likewise I don't believe they ever appear on the council website, I can't recall ever seeing one and noticing major changes had been made following a ppa. Similarly there's no requirement for Rovers to hold a "full consultation" all they've got to do is show evidence they've consulted with local residents before submitting the planning application, which we know they have done. Given the club already as pp for the previous Mem redevelopment plans and seem to be getting the council's approval for whatever is now planned, then it seems pretty unlikely pp won't be granted, and nobody is going to fund taking it to a JR as it was always a bit of a mystery how Trash funded such a move in the past. None of really know whats going on in the background, if anything, least of all your mate Wael.

Can you imagine us playing in a stadium that has 4 side almost entirely uniform. Nope, me neither.

Given we've never been able to raise the money to redevelop the Mem it's baffling where these two smaller(?) clubs can raise £50m & £130m respectively to redevelop/build their stadiums, are the owners borrowing all the money or paying for the work out of their own pockets?

Should always be on page one.
Big week for Hussain, that old cheque book should have 3 or 4 pages missing in the next 2 weeks.
And please don’t let him and Abdul walk the Thatchers Tuesday night if they do again without knowing our feelings.

I don’t think they would have the guts to go near the terraces during a league game at the moment. It was worrying to see the son anywhere near the ground for the Rumbalows Cup game last week - easing himself back into the Director of Football hot seat?

I doubt he ever left his CEO type role, he probably just returned home for the summer break and is now back in charge rather than just making a one off visit to the Mem last week? If that's the case them it'll be interesting to see how DC gets on working day to day with him.
