I make it 12. The winner against Halifax The winner against Lincoln The winner against Braintree The winner against Gateshead. Surely thats 8 points he has won us, as we would have only got 4 points in those games! Yeah thats right + a goal in the draw against Dartford (which at the time was a winner).

Do we have what it takes to beat Eastleigh? Top of the away form table. Able to put four in against Macc. Who are Eastleigh? Some village in Hampshire. Get a grip. Of course we can. I think those are misjudged comments Rich. They've done fantastically well to get to where they are in their first season in the Conference, and that kind of remark is patronising. If they read from your ever-consistent songsheet, they would believe in groundbreaking goals, be inspired by being a form side, and take faith that they can continue their rush to the play-offs. In the unlikely event that the management or players of Eastleigh read what you've said, they'll be fired up to burst our bubble.

Dawson put in a good shift today. Why doesn't a talent like that start games for us ? Am I the only one mystified by this ? Exciting wingers are what pull people to watch matches and I dearly hope he starts next Sat - It's my boy's 8 birthday and I'm taking him and a few of his mates to the game high up in Dribuld Stand so great view - really want them to see him in action (I'm sure they'll love watching him - they are all pretty talented players themselves.

That's a stupid attitude Rich when they have probably the highest budget in this league, plus players like Constable, Stanley & Pell will see this has their cup final. Next week will probably be our toughest remaining home league game of the season and possibly the toughest game we've got left. Beat Eastleigh next week and we'll be odds on to go up unless the players let nerves get to them. It's s few has beens for sure. Can Stanley cope with our pace. Unlikely! We are at home. Probably our biggest gate of the season. We are the form team. I think many on the bus will think we can win next week and go on to win this league. Bring it on. Agree Rich, Stanley is just an honest hoofer. I'd like to think we will dominate midfield although probably without our shining light _ The Beard

I'm guessing that it's a combination of starting off solid and looking to introduce flair when the opposition are tiring, and protecting a young player - which or whatever it's worked over the last five games!

Yes, The facts speak for themselves but like Mehew says why can't we have some creativity and flair in our side ? Why can't the opposition worry about us more especially when we'll have 7000 + at The Mem spurring Dawson on ?

The facts remain we are Bristol Rovers and the rest in this league can now see we mean business. I doubt if anyone can burst out bubble these days. Be confident. Bring it on.

Is Turley back in action these days? only played three games for them. None of them away. maybe he gets car sick? Sa 20Sep 2014 Eastleigh 1 - 0 Braintree Tu 27Jan 2015 Eastleigh 0 - 1 Grimsby Sa 07Feb 2015 Eastleigh 3 - 3 Telford Went off in 36rd minute of the Telford game. Not seen since. I would laugh but it would be unfair I guess. To give an idea of his contribution, think Alex Wall

Very much so, poor defending from Maccy as well which you won't see from us. I think Maccy will drop points at Braintree Tuesday night as well to really put them out of the title race, Forest Green are gonna beat Barnet and we'll make it 6 straight wins. Utg Remind me to talk to you next time a feel anxious. I have to agree with kylegas, neither team were all that (although the pitch looked, heavy shall we say,) once Eastleigh got their second Macc did just fall apart, and Constable had another goal chalked off for offside when he was well onside, hopefully the pressure is getting to the Macc Lads, they were saying in commentary that they are living on a shoestring budget, quite a thin squad and that they were the surprise package so maybe now they are 9 points adrift they might fade a bit.

I think many on the bus will think we can win next week and go on to win this league. Bring it on. How many times have you seen us this season Rich? The last thing Craig Stanley will worry about in our midfield is our pace! There is a tremendous difference between being positive and being arrogant. All good teams and good players need a touch of arrogance, in my opinion, but they need to rein it in sometimes. The fact that Eastleigh is a small village is nothing whatsoever to do with their football prowess. Look at Burnley: If the size of the city/town/village counted for anything they would be in the lower leagues. Likewise the attitude that they have has-beens in their team is over the top. There are some Rovers supporters who would still like to see Jamie Cureton back: He is also considered a has been by many, yet he is still knocking them in for Dagenham. Yesterday, two of Eastleigh's "has-beens" scored goals in their 4-0 win against Macclesfield. The same result as we got against Macclesfield, but it could be argued that Eastleigh's was a better win because the Maccs were on a good run of form leading into yesterday's game.
Of course many Rovers supporters, me included, will think we can win next week, many, such as you it seems, will expect it. After 53 years of supporting Rovers, I expect the unexpected and take nothing for granted.

I agree with much of the above. Maybe times are changing. We can look back and be angry about our past or we can look forward to the opportunities the we can all see ahead. The best players and the best teams have arrogance and confidence in equal measures. We are Bristol Rovers with a belief that we can win football matches not by under estimating our opposition but by concentrating on our strengths. We are on our way to being champions. Champions who make choices based on hope not fear. Our dark days are behind us. No need to doubt. This is our time. Our time for being hopeful. Potential champions fear no one!
