Well stop bloody doing it Rich: It winds people up, me included We're all superstitious people when it comes down to it and anything that appears to take things for granted is seen as a jinx.
You're either a mega Wind up Merchant, or so naïve you can't see how your Management speak b*llocks really gets up peoples noses, and has jinxed a few results this season and majorly - Last season.
Best read I've had in ages, as if Rich's bus ball sh@t has had any effect what so ever on the results this season. I know tensions are high but stop acting like apes and taking it out on one person because just football is a funny old game. Rich your bus sh@t annoys the hell out of me but I do admire your positivity, do what you like fella. The rest of us need to grow up a bit. Thanks Merthyr I'm sorry we didn't quite make it. My bus annoys me sometimes especially when I get it wrong! We might still do it. We are in a great position. Let's wait and see what happens.

And before the start would of said gateshead harder game than kiddy ...... fat lady not singing yet Gateshead are on their holidays. Conceded 7 in their last two games. Not a hope in hell. Didn't Mansfield get beat 3-0 at home before our match, they even forgot their kit. Although with our luck we'll get beat by Alfreton anyway.

I can't see them losing next week. But we must fancy our chances in the playoffs if we can keep moral high.

So much crazy talk. People writing off next week's games AND any playoffs! Calm down, for christ's sake. We're still in it. It's not even as if Barnet have to lose.
Our game next week looks easier than Barnet's.
If it does go to playoffs, I wouldn't back any team in this league to beat us over two legs.

I suppose last season is a reminder that it ain't over til it's over. Or a reminder that what can go wrong will go wrong.

Well I think that was our last chance of automatic really can't see Barnet not winning at home and I'm really dreading the playoffs. Most of all I feel sorry for the guys who went, only to be let down like that. What utter rubbish. The players have done us proud over the last 45 games and gave their best today. We drew away so did barnet. End of. We can still do it. The problem is that matching Barnet's result is not enough we need to do better. I'm not saying we can't still win it and I hope we do, I just think it is now unlikely. I have not said that the players didn't give their best, but we had the chance to overtake Barnet all we had to do was hold on to a slender lead and we failed to do so. I feel gutted, but I feel more gutted for those that travelled there. You may not agree with my view and I admire you for your optimism which unfortunately I don't share at this moment in time.

I agree with what you're saying, but the last 5 minutes today would have crushed our players and fans and put Barnet's on cloud 9. There's not much that going to turn that around between now and next Saturday. I don't agree that our game next week looks easier than Barnet's though. Gateshead are done this season. Their minds are clearly all in Mallorca and Ibiza already. They've got a weak underbelly and don't stand a hope at Barnet IMO. Alfreton on the other hand will be fighting for survival at the Mem next weekend. And unfortunately, the two teams we're most likely to face in the play-off's (Eastleigh and FGR) have, theoretically, beaten us over two legs this season. So watered off.

What a lot of fun you can have with pop psychology... Good job it's what you do with the ball when the whistle goes that counts.

I cannot believe the weakness of you guys.
Spineless, panicky blubbing.
You'd better grow a pair for next week or it's going to look like teeny-boppers at a boy band's farewell gig at the slightest setback.
chuffking man up.

Imagine if we went top today and buggered up next week ? Now that would be poop ! Yeah we're underdogs now and that suits us more than when we're favorites.

Let's be honest, we'll beat Alfreton. They are a poor side who are on their way down. Now looking at Gateshead, if they score first against Barnet like Kiddy did earlier then I expect them to at least force a draw. However if Barnet score first they'll run away with it.
As long as it's still mathematically possible then I'll cheer us on all the way. Here's to hoping Barnet can f*ck up again! All the pressure is on them!

We'll stuff Alfreton.Town not much bigger than Keynsham. Was there yesterday. Not football related.Tiny little club.Relax boys.We will go up in the end but being Rovers we have to do it the hard way.Everything still to play for.P.S. Easter's fitness a real worry.Another Brunt?

There is nothing weak about accepting the position we are in. We need a minor miracle to win this league if it happens then we will all be ecstatic if not then we accept it and move on.

It will feel different tomorrow I know it will but right now I'm as low as a snakes belly. DC has job of his life to keep the team positive, let's do what we can to help. No fight = no chance. We gotta lift ourselves and keep the momentum going

Anyone know how many Rovers fans were there today? Attendance of 2,351 but away figure not released.
