According to reports this morning Harrold is expecting to complete a move to Crawley this week.
Whilst appreciating that he took a lot of stick last season, can't help but feel we're swapping players who are capable of League football for relatively standard Conference players.
Hopes of a good season waning.....

Totally disagree, we are replacing players proven to have not been good enough to keep us in the league with playets that are umproven. That gives me more not less confidence.
Harold is a very poor player and we can do much better

Although I think he would have been more effective in the Conference, I also feel he can be easily replaced. Plus we should have Brunt coming back who is a better all round big man to have up front. |

Would rather keep him. I think Harrold is a decent player, and would do a good job in the Skrill. Hope Clarke has someone else decent to come in!!!

I agree, I think Harrold will do well in the Conference and with his experience I feel he would be a good model to have around the younger players alongside Mildenhall and Brown, possibly even Gow!

I think if we can get a fee this is a good bit of business. We need fresh blood and unfortunately we hoped for more from Harrold last season when he was fit but he didn't deliver and I feel it's time we moved him on now and any fee would be a bonus

I know that there was more outgoing activity last week which my result in at least one more outgoing.
Cant help thinking that we should try and keep one or two experienced hands

The number of knockdowns from Harrold our players should have been on the end of last season means he was doing it right and 'we' were doing it wrong... |

Gotta say BigDave, they must have been subtle knock downs. The others didn't see them and nor did I.
What I did see was a player consistently committing fouls and breaking up any chances we did create.

I would not be sad if Harrold goes either. He gives away far more free kicks than he gets,and as for his flick ons were,they could go to anywhere,usually to someone not wearing blue and white quarters. Agree though he might do better in the Conference.

Always did his best for us, no denying that. Never got back to the level he was before his lay off. Was great away at Portsmouth.
Did he ever miss a penalty?
I personally will miss him as he seemed a great guy to have around the club but can see that Clarke is going in a different direction and if he feels that Matt is surplus then it's fine with me.

I would like to see Harrold leave as means we may sign another forward.
We have a poor record with Harrold in the team and most matches when he is playing are boring to watch.

We cannot use Harrold, we have shown for years now he brings out the worst in us. I don't knock his effort, so good luck. Best for both parties... Very surprised a L1 club is interested.
