Don't agree .. Quite a clear message on his opinion of the formation of new groups, the arenas he will communicate with fans in only, the extent of the review and that there will be communication of the findings at each stage when ready, and the length of the investigation into Wycombe .. The timescale of that seems so close to the beginning of the new season I cannot see that their relegation is ever now going to be an outcome unfortunately

Lockleazer, can you not see why official groups are used instead of a bunch of unknowns ? You could be a bunch of naughty Teds for all the BOD know. These things really do need to be thought through before jumping up and down.

Nothing stopping a representative of BRISA, The Well Group, or GHS or whatever going to official Q and A (whenever that is) making it known they represent said group and asking questions on behalf of the fans they are representing.
If they want to ignore you then at an official meeting than that shows you the contempt they may hold you/us in

But I assume the vast majority of Rovers fans are 'pay-on-the-day' non-Helpline/SC members...official groups are fine, but the vast majority of income and support comes from non-official groups and so when is it our turn? |

Yes, I understand all of that, but can you not see why Mr Higgs does not answer ranting Emails from individuals ? I have seen threads mentioning such things as 'I sent Higgs three emails and he has not bothered to reply' Groups like the Welly and Brisa are organised and I am sure with time they will be accepted but to hope for this NOW, is not reasonable in my opinion.

No i cant ... there ane many many loyal gasheads who for varying reasons are not ST holders and choose as is their right to not join the SC or other membership groups, they are still fans of the club... they deserve to be heard as well |

Bss cofirmes st holders and sc members only. I stated inwante to see the results of the review and the meeting prior to making a decision on buying a season ticket but he said i cant attend.

One of them attends meetings at the club very often, another is the leader of THe Fans Forum Sponsor Club that raised £7,500 to sponsor our youth players and young pros over 18 months and I worked for the club for 4 years and also gave up my own free time to contribute to the matchday programme (for the last THREE seasons), I have also been a voluntary scout looking for the best youngsters at tournaments throughout the summer giving up my Saturdays and SUndays ( and yes I have a wife and two kids). Does Nick know my name probably NOT because he never asked me - I would as I always did on seeing him politely say hello to him and I congratulated him with all my heart when THe UWE went through !! Would you like to retract your comments ? |

How can things carry on regardless ? It is truly shocking in my eyes. |

It sounds as though Nick has a persecution complex. He needs to give a clear message that the meeting in July is open to everybody within the fanbase.

Mark, no, my comments should still make sense to you. I know very well about the FFS as I give money also and in several other ways, but does this give me a right to shout everyone down ? no, this is not a my way or no way support. I can see you are upset by my comments and I am sorry for that,but to be honest we can all point to things we are doing or have done for the club, I wont bore you with mine. We are all supporting one team so again, sorry if I upset you.

My take on the statement is that there is a lot of sniping & derision aimed at the BoD, some deserved & some not so. Hence Nick's wish to be approached by organised groups. Mark the group is a good idea for sure, have you invited Brian & Ken to attend next Tuesday? They would be able to convey the message & also bring some credence to our right to be heard officially. The lack of respect the board give us fans is shocking. Strength is in numbers so any groups need to try to join together. Only then will the board start to listen. I didn't go to the first meeting but I'll definitely be coming next week.

There seems to have been a dramatic change in tack by NH since relegation.
Towards the end of last season we were treated to 'we need to give the fans a team they deserve' and 'unbelievable loyalty and support'. Now we get dismissive statements full of contempt for the supporters.
It really does need to change soon as it's a one way ticket to a broken club going down again.
Why doesn't NH just come out and say 'we apologise for relegation, the supporters deserve so much better, we are backing DC and we need to unite behind him'? It would be a start at least.
