I've been thinking about this quite a lot recently - well, especially since the end of May...
...so here's the question. If you could change one thing about the club, the ground, the fans, etc etc that is truly cringe-worthy, what would it be?
Mine is the anti-City chants that occur at nearly every home match in the first ten minutes of each home match. Fine to use them as either a 'rallying call' or for a bit of fun, but at home to Rochdale towards the end of a season when we are quite literally fighting for our league survival, who cares what we think about Bristol City? I don't. Who does?
Anyway, what else about Rovers embarrasses you? Santa's Grotto is not allowed as it's too obvious...

The South Stand. Other clubs build basic but perfectly functional stands for relatively cheap. Just look at Dagenham and Torquay recently. We have had a tent for over 10 years. If the UWE is dead we need to get on with sorting out the Mem. Even if they just modernised the bars behind the Blackthorn it would be a start.

Having a Carnival atmosphere inside and outside The Mem on the last game of the season when relegation was a possibility.

The blackthorn twins The Wycombe pitch invasion... Why the embarrassment over uber exuberant fans going a bit ott? Or is it an embarrassment now but not at the time?

Irene as our only song and also that it is sung badly and not as the pledge to arms it used to be. We used to have such inventive fans who made shirts, jumpers, fanzines and great songs. Irene now is not the spine tingling anthem it was.

Irene now is not the spine tingling anthem it was. I don't usually stand in the Blackthorn End but was there for the Rochdale game and actually found the GNI rendition very emotional and was sung loud and proud in a defiant last stand kind of way just before the teams came out.Birmingham was a truly incredible atmosphere as well.in general though the garbage we've witnessed on the pitch for so long has taken its toll on the fans big time and the enthusiasm for singing Irene is inevitable I suppose.

How the attitude of our supporters (not all) have changed in the past 15years....
My experiences tell me we have, that this cannot be denied!

P.S sh** football and three relegations have not helped I admit but I remember when we stared adversity in the face, laughed and then fought to the last man

We could be paired with the 130 British Soldiers at Yorkes Drift who despite the odds stood their ground and fought off 1000's of Zulu's. Like them we were given Great Respect from the Better Numbers......

Mehew.... You are correct, however this is what we have lost as a club.
And I hate it.....
