I agree with you all but right now my heart is not in it. Not a reflection on you. May change my mind by the time the season starts. As it involves two forums (i hope) twitter and facebook (i hope) are you having a new name ? Also to reflect the closing of the forum. Would be happy to join a Brisa player sponsor scheme as it would promoting us. The FFS will be promoted on all the forums as it is open to ALL GASHEADS, as it always has been, It already has a Twitter Account and maybe someone will step forward to give it a platform on Facebook (i'm not on it). I can only speak for myself on the name, i want it to stay FFS it's a catchy little abbreviation in my opinion and is getting familiar to people, of course all is subject to democratic decision by the members and i have no right on the final say.

Although, in hindsight, it probably wasn't one of his better decisions to have it done in one of those unlicensed back street shops.

FFS should stay separate from BRISA.
It was always about bringing all fans together regardless of and without politics.

Ok I will start with 1st pledge. £1 for every away goal scored by a striker or attacking midfielder and £2 for every away goal scored by a defensive midfielder or defender. I will make 2 payments the first on Dec 31st and the second after the last game of the season. A goal at Wembley should we play there will also count. In the unlikely event Mildenhall scores I pledge a tenner. Good one Sean - I'll match your pledge and for a bit of fun pledge a further £3 for every goal Ellis Harrison scores for BRFC

Kept separate from BRISA but encourage more to join.
I'll pledge £10 if the internal review is completed by 9/8/14, £20 for the external review and £3.50 if we have any news about the UWE by this Wednesday.

jon - is this thread for general ideas / issues, or just sponsor related ones?
if it is the former, then I just want to re-iterate that I feel the money should be donated to something very tangible, rather than put into a general fund, or even given to BRFC for them to do what they want to within a specific area (e.g. youth).
this may result in it having to be capital expenditure, or at the least something very very clear and tangible. e.g. a piece of equipment, a trip to x.
this is quite normal in the funding of voluntary organisations.

Fair point, others have already criticised me for this. But please remember, the way i set this up means we get something for our money, i.e: Shirt/Match sponsorships etc If we want a say on how the Football Club spend the money we just need to donate ,but receive no product/service in return. I like it as it is, but if people decide otherwise it can and will be changed. UTG

I like it as it is, but if people decide otherwise it can and will be changed. UTG it wasn;t a criticism. it was a different way of still helping the young players, and the club, yet making sure it doesn't go into a big black hole. Looking at the evidence of board and manager financial management, non restricted funding doesn't seem to have helped the the club on the pitch. do the FFSC members feel the need to 'get something' from their altruistic support of young players? i suspect people would pay £10 a year and not expect prize draws. Supporters Club is £9 and nothing 'tangible' comes from that except the news letter (which I like) and the possibility of helping get tickets.

Personally I don't think we should change anything. If we start adding clauses or demands it becomes a very different thing. If its not broke, don't break it.
