Please post NEW ideas/suggestions here, The FFS ran pretty well in the format we used before, so most things should remain. 1. "Sponsor Performance"
Based on the successful "Pledge-A-Pound" idea started by GasRex last season. Members pledge £1 per certain objectives. For example: £1 per every goal Sinclair scores, £1 for every win , £1 for each clean sheet etc, etcThis will remain the members choice and they can stop at anytime if neccessary. Thoughts/fine tuning/name ideas? I pledge £20 if Nick Day will play my punk cover of the match of the day theme tune for our run out music for at least one game. I pledge £10 if DC does not claim we need time to gel by christmas. Is this to add to your other pledges? Are you serious about them as I'm trying to keep a list. or I will delete them

Happy to, and as I said, I have nothing but respect for it or the people on this forum who I see as the future of the club (hopefully....)

Is that because I'm about to buy the board out or at least attempt to?

I'm definitely up for being a member of the FFSC again this season. I've read quite a bit on what direction the FFSC should take so I thought I'd throw in my view. I'm happy without any tangible benefit from the club as to where our money's going. I don't expect the club to be able to tell us how they spend it, although it would be a nice gesture if they could. Essentially, I see the FFSC as a 'syndicate' to enable ordinary fans to buy shirt sponsorships and matchday hospitality. These are things that many of us as individuals couldn't afford but the FFSC gives us a small, but proud, stake in. Businesses who buy these packages don't receive specific information on club spending so I don't think we automatically should.
As for my GAS BILL, I pledge: £1 for every goal scored by a player who's shirt (home or away) is sponsored by the FFSC. £2 for every win in cup games

ok, i'll keep mine affordable (hopefully)....
i'll pledge 2 quid everytime stuart Sinclair scores and i'll double up if he scores more than 1 in a match i.e. 2 goals 8 quid a hatrick twelve quid....
I would like to have done a tom huddlestone type operation where I only have a shave when he scores, but I think my employers might find this idea concerning....

Ummm, i was thinking along the lines of your "Gas Bill" to pledge myself....so, do we sponsor loads of strikers and hopefully cost you a kings ransom, or Sponsor defenders and then i'll join your pledge! Can i just say everyone, this is fantastic, a bit of fun and a great way to raise some funds. Thanks everyone.
...And can i say...if you really are sure Rovers are gonna be dire this season - Put your money where your mouth is and if you're right it won't cost you a shilling!

I will update the list from now on on the thread in the FFs section. This thread will remain for chat and any pledges made will be collected in a tidy list on the thread in tge ffs section.
All part of the service here on GasChat - the spicy Cumberland sausage of the Rovers forum fry-up world. How do you like your eggs? On yer face? So do we.

I'd like to continue sponsoring the youth mainly but maybe one or two marquee names. I'd love it if someone like Jamie Lucas chipped in with 10 goals.

I'd so like to see Jamie score a bucket load...
I'll have a list of players available soon for us to mull over mate. Tom Lockyer (away kit) is the only one confirmed to date, to continue our support of him for the third year running.

Right then. £5 for a win (hoping this will be expensive) and £2 for a Jamie White goal. Also an extra £5 if the win is by 5 goals or more.
When is membership opening up again Jon? Couldn't make the fun day unfortunately.
