jon - is this thread for general ideas / issues, or just sponsor related ones? if it is the former, then I just want to re-iterate that I feel the money should be donated to something very tangible, rather than put into a general fund, or even given to BRFC for them to do what they want to within a specific area (e.g. youth). this may result in it having to be capital expenditure, or at the least something very very clear and tangible. e.g. a piece of equipment, a trip to x. this is quite normal in the funding of voluntary organisations. Personally I don't think we should change anything. If we start adding clauses or demands it becomes a very different thing. If its not broke, don't break it. Having said that.... Jon, is there any chance of the Board recognising us (ffs) as a legitimate group? Could we use that to maybe have access to a quarterly Q&A on behalf of the FFS or something similar? Just a meeting a few times a year to discuss fund raising partneships and /or raise our members concerns? The FFS could be a proactive PARTNER in building bridges between board and fans without the pressure of making demands.

I am not ashamed to say I don't think you need a website. Its a fans forum sponsor club. A presence on the forums will be enough. In my opinion. Which is slightly biased.

I've made a pledge and you've missed it. I've tried to point out your mistake and you've still got it wrong. Please re-read.

It was unnecessarily rude and angry and not in the spirit of this fine forum. I've now amended my post to something a bit more civil and in future will not try to write something at 1.00 am after a heavy night in the pub. Apologies once again.

I agree with you all but right now my heart is not in it. Not a reflection on you. May change my mind by the time the season starts. As it involves two forums (i hope) twitter and facebook (i hope) are you having a new name ? Also to reflect the closing of the forum. Would be happy to join a Brisa player sponsor scheme as it would promoting us. The FFS will be promoted on all the forums as it is open to ALL GASHEADS, as it always has been, It already has a Twitter Account and maybe someone will step forward to give it a platform on Facebook (i'm not on it). I can only speak for myself on the name, i want it to stay FFS it's a catchy little abbreviation in my opinion and is getting familiar to people, of course all is subject to democratic decision by the members and i have no right on the final say. Jon, I will be more than happy to run the Facebook page, as part of one of the younger members of FFSC . PM me if you want to liaise further.

Please post NEW ideas/suggestions here, The FFS ran pretty well in the format we used before, so most things should remain. 1. "Sponsor Performance"
Based on the successful "Pledge-A-Pound" idea started by GasRex last season. Members pledge £1 per certain objectives. For example: £1 per every goal Sinclair scores, £1 for every win , £1 for each clean sheet etc, etcThis will remain the members choice and they can stop at anytime if neccessary. Thoughts/fine tuning/name ideas? I pledge £20 if Nick Day will play my punk cover of the match of the day theme tune for our run out music for at least one game. I pledge £10 if DC does not claim we need time to gel by christmas.
