Hi Jon. I will continue to support the FFSC as, not being able attend home games, it means I can do a little for my club. I would, however, prefer it to remain without a political agenda as this may restrict it's appeal. Keep up the excellent work :-)

One thing is clear here, We can't please all of the people, all of the time. I'm actually quite proud that we seem to please most of the people, most of the time.
All i can say is i do my best, i take on board peoples opinions and listen carefully, but someone has to make decisions. Now some of those decisions are not going to meet everyone's approval, but that's the way it is. I also have to believe in what i'm doing or i can't do it, and to be perfectly honest i have to enjoy it too or my enthusiasm will disappear. I can't help that i wear my heart on my sleeve, that's just me - i get things wrong that's for sure. But if i wanted to avoid criticism i'd say nothing and more importantly i'd do nothing.
My running of The FFS Club and my involvement with Mark and Bernard are fueled by passion for not just Bristol Rovers but also my feelings for the Gashead family. There are times i truly wish i didn't care as much as i do, because to be frank my life would be so much easier, i work long hours and when i finish i answer countless emails/PM's and take phone calls (just tonight i have spent over an hour on the phone)all for my feelings for Rovers. But despite that i want to see Rovers progress and challenge in the top divisions of English Football, i am getting old, but i'd love my son to support a Rovers that he can truly be proud of and get enjoyment out of following - he is is my motivation to try to make being a Gashead fun again and if he's happy then so am i.
Hope you understand. JTS
Oh and i disagree with Culling badgers.

Thank you Jon, for all you have done for us.
Imo you need to share the load.
If there is anything you need you know you have a big FFSC family here who are willing and ready to help.

Ok, it seems people like the idea of a pinned/specific section so later today I will move these FFSC threads to the FFSC folder on our front page.
I will do another announced thread like the "is this what everyone wants?" one to let people know where to find stuff.
If it doesnt work or that section of Gas Chat doesn't get enough hits I'll put everything back.
Cheers,
H

Hope you understand. JTS Oh and i disagree with Culling badgers. Blimey Its only a bit of debate i dont think there is anyone who thinks ffs does any harm to anyone. My concern was more around the two roles contradicting each other and the submissive nature of dealing with what happened with ffs and the forum. Its clear everyone gets a lot out of it and found it one positive of last year. I believe ffs has the capacity to make ten times what it did last year if you get the likes of Hugo on board and market it well. The wellie thing has merged with brisa now anyway so hopefully my concerns around the idependance of such meetings will be answered to. Good luck and dont worry everyone knows you work hard and are appreciated and loved :-)
