Arsenal were a good passing side and technical skills were excellent most of the time, but they struggled with the physical stuff - kind of expected from U21's, especially in the Prem.
We didn't really press them enough for my liking, but we controlled the second half and deserved a goal IMO.
Not particularly comparable to a L2 game, because it would be far more physical and intense.

I like the defender Clarke. Leadbitter did quite well. Taylor impressed when he came on but I think it helped playing against a less physical side. Easter looked streetwise as normal
Gosling is very hit and miss, gives the ball away too much. Bodin didn't impress me enough on that game. Montano looked promising in bits but didnt stand out as such. Mansell was very, very vocal.
Arsenal were like the first team. Very good technically but don't shoot enough.

Arsenal have annoyed me. I thought this game was down to the Macey deal and away of getting a sell out and some extra cash for the club to add to the pittance received in transfer fee.
Sending their u21s is a joke. Another example of how the top flight don't give a dam about the bottom.

GGMI, what game were you at? Taylor was awful. Even to the extent of being through on goal and completely missing the header.
Bodin was clearly our best forward, as EH had an off day.
I thought we did ok, just not clinical enough. Clarke looked solid enough. Do agree about Leadbitter and Montano, but not sure the Columbian has done enough yet. Poor error by Mildy, but I don't really think he's good enough now anyway.
We really need a decent winger in asap.
Don't know what the Arsenal sub keeper was on. all he cared about was wasting as much time as possible. What a joke.
By the way, Arsenal drew with Bournemouth earlier in the week.
