Following a discussion on another thread I wonder what people thought of the FFSC paying for some kind of home improvements at the Mem such as painting a bar or the toilets and such to at least make it look like we care about our ground. I am too far away to do any work but I will chuck another tenner in the pot if we can get it off the ground. All I ask is a little 'Newmarket was here' face and hands looking over a wall sort of thing, on the toilet walls

This is a great idea.
A bit of gardening around the edges, toilets painted, rust removal eyc.
I like it!

Not many league grounds worse than ours.A reprieve of a year when we went to places like Braintree and Alfreton makes me think that others will think of us as the Braintree and Alfreton of the FL.Will donate a tin of Dulux.
