There's a couple of shouts you can hear, if you listen carefully. No idea whether they're Sincs', though. He said in his post match interview that he was shouting for the ball. Great finish and a top drawer instinctive pass which is typical of Matty Taylor as he's a far better player than his shooting gives him credit for. Stick him behind a front two rather than part of it and I think we would quite possibly see the best of his talents. cant argue with that.

What a wonderful pass. Lets all rejoice and praise the Lord and be eternally grateful that the roles were not reversed in that passage of play. Otherwise we all know that last nights match would have finished 0-0. Amen. I bet you would have wanted him to miss as well. Not the case actually. I never want any Rovers player to fail. Its just that with some of them, you know they will.

Looked like a hopeful punt to me from Taylor (help me t bone made me write this and has me hostage. He said if I tell anyone.... oh god! Here he comes....) I love a good hostage story! Is he touching you inappropriately? Go on I bet he is the sadistic little Knunt!

That pass is why Taylor should play behind the front two or even as a winger/attacking midfield. His finishing is far from good enough. We may only get the odd chance in some game this season..... He needs to take it not mess it up.
He is not a natural goal scorer, but his off the ball and first touch are extremely good. Just needs someone with hi who can hit the target.

What like you knew he'd fail last season when you said that if he got 20 goals you'd admit that he's done a good job but there's no way he will because he's useless ? Yeah you know it all don't you steaky.

Yeah you know it all don't you steaky. Perhaps Tbone is a bit blunt with MT. But he is right in a way. Taylor is a good footballer, too good IMO to be banging around the conference and L2. However, he is because his finishing is so poor. The Northampton game is a great example. He was in the right place at the right time. He took the keeper out of the equation with his first touch, he then completely cocked up the finish. We we will only get 1 or 2 chances in some games and he needs to be able to take them, it's that simple! Even my 7 year old cringes when Taylor is through on goal... I agree with Tbone regarding last night, the last player on our team I would have wanted on the end of his pass would have been MT, and that's not being an arse, it's just the truth, he would have probably missed it over the bar and killed a seagull somewhere outside. But his pass and link up play is very good! I think he may be the creative spark we need, we just don't know it yet. ![:scared:](http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/scared/scared0016.gif)

It wasn't even 20, it was 15, then he changed the goalposts when Matty reached 15 and said penalties don't count, however he comfortably went past 15 from open play and still he didn't come close to acknowledging he'd done a good job

1) No I never, I had a hunch from the very 1st game, when he missed a one on one against Grimsby. 2) No I didn't. 3) He is useless at his job, which correct me if I am wrong,is that of a striker.
As previously stated, I have no hatred of him.Its just that he isn't very good

He also said he'd admit he was wrong if it turned out that way. Far as I know there's been no admition. He was also one of our best players in build up play as well as being our top scorer. So far this season he's played quite well, missed a great chance and created a goal out of nothing to win a game. Not great but certainly not a bad start to the season by a player who I think most of us would agree is one of our best footballers. Clearly some on here just like to have a witch hunt on certain players and can't wait to point out any mistake and then go missing when those players do something good.

Someone hacked your account last season then because plenty of us read it. His job is to create and score goals the same as any other forward. So far his record at this club at doing those two things has been fantastic.

On the flip side, some can't recognise the input from a striker who's not scoring when the team is winning.

This is Romans 8:31 - "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
If God is truly on our side, then we shall not be vanquished!
Gott mit uns . . .

You think Stuart Sinclair is 100% a better finisher than Matty Taylor? On this seasons statistics?. I reckon he may just be. So based on 6.5% of the available data you can conclude that your preconceived idea is right and many many others are wrong? As previously stated, I have no hatred of him.Its just that he isn't very good It's probably not hatred, but based on 93.5% of your posts, it's at least a vendetta...
