I remember you telling me that my head was buried somewhere. Interesting how times change! Lol. We are in a mess RD, it is clear as day. That's ALL of our players on that team sheet plus youth! I dint expect 1/2 of them to be with us in a few weeks either. Mate, I'm not denying things are bad; I agree with you. But at the moment you just seem to be moaning about everything! Lol. Don't get me wrong; I get it mate. But moaning because we're playing pre-season matches is moaning for moaning's sake IMO. Cheer up mate. It's not right seeing you so miserable about the Gas (I know that says an awful lot about our situation if you of all people are this down) but let's give it a couple more weeks before total meltdown - who knows, we might make 6 signings in the next couple of weeks and, although that won't make everything right as rain, we'll be in damn sight better shape than we are now at least. Gotta say I'm actually fairly impressed with Clarkes 'foundaton' here. With 4 more on the way this certainly isn't a bad start. Some thoughts...
Clarke has had an off game, not sure he's good enough to start.
Mansell incredibly vocal and demanding, leader.
5 at the back (wing backs) is decent and we have the players for it.
Higgins (right back trialist) is actually a pretty tidy player (obviously only seen him today).
Had control of the game at the start, but Cheltenham then took a bit of control. We are struggling to piece our possession into chances but we have had some good moves. Taylor did well when given the ball but looks isolated... We need a big man alongside him, Brunt would be perfect IMO.
Ellis very wasteful ... A bit greedy too. Expected I guess.
Very impressed with Sinclair, does what Salisbury fans said. He is everywhere, wins the ball, controls it well, good passer.

Ollie Clarke is a sub at best. Did you go much last season ? He had a good period mid-season and didn't look out of place in L2. |

What we need as supporters is goals goals goals in pre-season games - don't care if we lose 2-3, 2-4, 3 -5 but we need to know that things have changed - If we are playing one up front then there is little to look forward to yet again !
