Sounds like very similar to last season,can't score in a brothel. Needed some creative midfielders and wingers. Needed them last season and need them now or we are in for a long hard season. Clarke stay behind tomorrow from Cardiff and get your fingers out with signings. Use the knowledge you said you had!!!

Where's the perspective on the situation in these posts. This is the first time many of our players have played together and for some they have not faced opposition in terms of a FL club.
Team bashing all night for lads playing there first ever game in blue and white quarters.
Maybe give the team a chance to gel. Yes we are short of players but DC knows that unlike previous managers who buried their heads in the sand.
Still 4 weeks to go, loan market to dabble in and I imagine more permanents to come in to.

I'd be reasonably happy with the squad if I thought 3 or 4 quality players were coming in. But are they?

According to Chelts commentators "Bristol Rovers created virtually nothing in the 90 minutes".
Mind you the two commentators were the most boring stupid people you'd never wish to listen to.
Imagine: Keith Brookman with no football knowledge and OD'd on Valium.

Only a pre-season friendly so IMO more important than result is this ...
What style of footie did we play ?
What formation did we play ?
Did we create chances/how many shots did we have ?
Did we not score because of poor finishing/ great saves/ didn't create anything ?
Did the keeper bother to vary his distribution
and more ......
I hope somebody might have time, who went, to respond to this ?
