Get the mem valued as of today, problem solved. It doesn't matter if it's £30m or £15m if it's correct that the money is ready and waiting for the UWE build.Lose the appeal and the buyers get £15m back, win it and they get the £30 m when the mem is sold.Getting the value of the club and the loan reimbursements sorted will be the stumbling block not the value of the mem site. Agreed - pretty well what I said earlier. Much depends if any 'new investors' are prepared to make a fair value offer for the club or not. I suspect NH has a very clear valuation in his mind, already. Ah didn't have time to catch up with the whole thread so not seen your post yet. With regard to the validity of the leak, the only reason I can come up with for it is that if plan c proves to be bogus then a Higgs led plan b scenario might seem more acceptable to some as it would still entail getting a new stadium.Basically I believe these rumours are true because there is no massive bad news on the horizon!

I would suggest the new investors would be able to sort an even better training facility to be honest! Possibly - but not overnight. The playing side needs to continue whilst any new owners get up to speed. Plus they may not want to spend extra money on those facilities and would be happy to take over the current arrangement, in which case it could be considered part of a goodwill payment. I'm still not getting how that is an assett that Nick Higgs could claim to want payment for to be honest.

Its pretty obvious that NH has an acceptable price in mind that he will agree to,but being sensible he is not going to reveal it to prospective purchasers its down to them to make an offer that is close to his valuation, not rocket science. The ball is in the consortiums court they have to decide how they are going to use it

Wish this hadn't surfaced to be honest, Higgs won't sell til after appeal, consortium are who?
Can someone put some meat on the bones, as no concrete evidence of anything, cannot understand why all ITK are not expanding on it, and naming who the consortium is based around.
well, we still need a free scoring striker, and if we can't buy one how about Lucas getting 45 minutes Saturday?

If there was nothing in this, i'm sure the board will have put out a statement. I just can't help but think there is something going on.

Things don't work quite as simply as that with Mr Higgs I don't think.

As I said earlier, NH will not make an announcement denying an approach, because if he did, he could be caught on a lie.
I think it's now for the consortium to step it up,

As I said earlier, NH will not make an announcement denying an approach, because if he did, he could be caught on a lie. I think it's now for the consortium to step it up, TBF, I'd only expect them to do that as last ditch attempt to salvage a deal. If things still look seemingly possible as far as they're concerned, they might not want to risk damaging any relationship with our BoD (and ergo any chance of a deal) by going public if they don't believe the club want them too (and perhaps NH has even requested that they stay quiet). I definitely think you're spot on with your first point though.

I have spoken to a director of BRFC this afternoon and I asked him directly if there had been an approach and he said there had been no approach or offer from anyone. He had no idea where this started but it's certainly not from inside our boardroom.

NH won't make any announcement until the deal is set in stone, it's now up to the consortium to shed further light on the bid

Then you were either lied to, or the chairman has kept it so close to his chest that he hasn't shared it with the others.

I'm not going to say which one for obvious reasons but he has no reason to lie to me given on what he has told me in the past. But it is one of our executive directors.

I've known sine super sensitive stuff in the past which had come from him weeks before it comes into the public domain. If he had told me the details of an investor thenI wouldn't put it here anyway.
