Nicholls 3 Very poor mistake. One good claim from a cross but looked suspect a few times. Leadbitter 7 Looked good going forward and our brightest spark. Lockyer 6 Looked alright again, not helped by his CB partner. Parkes 1 Truly awful. OG, at fault for the 3rd goal too. Shot at the end summed his game up. Brown 5 Didn't offer a great deal and too slow. Bodin 5 Great goal but not much else. Mansell 5 OK. Sinclair 5 OK. Gosling 5 Didn't create enough. Taylor 8 Won nearly everything in the air. A shame that he missed 3 half decent opportunities. Gets an extra couple of marks for certain individuals marking him too low with their own agenda. Easter 5 Looked alright. Didn't threaten a great deal. Subs: Lines 6 Put some good balls in when he came on, class is obvious just frustrating he isn't consistent enough. Montano 5 looked bright when he initially came on but faded a bit. Harrison 5 Won one really good header but little else. Crowd 6 Fairly decent atmosphere considering the performance, or lack of performance. Ref 5 Frustrating at times but seen worse. Newport 6 Christmas come early for them but were better than their league position. Looked like a mid table outfit. So your mark for Taylor is a false one by your own admission! Perhaps you will enlighten us as to your opinion of his true worth. For the record i also thought he was useless today and can confirm that he did not touch the ball at all until after the score was 1-1. His first bad miss put the nail in the coffin as heads dropped. Taylor was the second worst Rovers player today…..no agenda here just seeing things for what they are. Thanks for your comments GHB. Have contacted Unigas the instigator and [controller for want of a better word] of this thread, as I feel GGMI has once again overstepped the mark on this forum and his actions can only do one thing, ruin a really good thread on this forum and at the same time undermining Unigas's weekly contribution collating all the scores etc.

That cannot be your real rating. That is ridiculous. Taylor was a 6 IMO. Unigas, do what you want with my rating, I personally felt Bideford has undermined the ratings by giving Taylor a 1. Bideford stop stirring.

I have been a regular contributor to this thread since it started on here, unlike yourself, who I have encouraged on more than one occasion to add your scores on here, rather than comment on others ratings and what do you do when you eventually decide to add your scores? Admit you have posted a false mark. Childish in my opinion and an insult to Unigas who works hard to collate the scores for every game.

Whilst you are allowed to continue on this forum I can only conclude that this is no longer a place I wish to be involved in.

I am quite happy for you to think I am being ridiculously unfair on him. My score stands as it is and I repeat, it is my honest opinion There is no doubt that you are a passionate gashead, I have enjoyed some of the threads you have started over the years on this and previous forums, however your main failing is that you ALWAYS need to have the last word, especially when people do not agree with your opinion. I will therefore refrain from entering into any future debates with you on here. I will however continue to post on this forum..

I too gave him a score of 1. That was for managing to put his shirt on the right way round.

Nope. The little bit he did do was overshadowed by his pathetic attempts at scoring.

Nichols 2 - Shocking mistake which obviously knocked his confidence for the remainder of the game, but I'd still play him ahead of Mildy.
Leadbitter 6 - Gave us width on the right and always looked to get forward at pace but sometimes takes too long to get in the cross Parkes 2 - Not much needs saying, although I will add that he was unlucky with his header on the bar. Lockyer 6 - Solid as usual and felt a bit sorry for him with so many individual mistakes happening around him Brown 6 - He's Mr consistent, although not spectacular today
Bodin 5 - Cracking volley for the goal but apart from that never really got into the game. Mansell 6 - Would of kept him on and replaced Sinclair so that lines could of played slightly further up the field. Was busy as usual in midfield Sinclair 6 - Put another shift in but not at his best today Gosling 6 - Linked play well in the first half but always goes inside. Would prefer him to vary it and play wider at times
Taylor 5 - Missed a good chance in the first half but took up some good positions. Average game today Easter 5 - Looked slightly off the pace but held the ball up well. Sometimes comes too deep which results to him not being in the box when the ball finally gets delivered
Subs Lines 5 - Did ok but played too deep Harrison 3 - Contributed very little, although wasn't on for long Montano 5 - Did ok
Crowd 4 - Quiet but understandably Ref 6 - Better than a lot of others we've had Newport 6 - Looked up for it but I think they'll still be near the bottom come May. Were gifted 3 goals, although the 3rd and 4th were good finishes

Nicholls 1. MIstake was as bad as you get, crucial and unacceptable from a professional.
Leadbitter 7. Some good crosses Lockyer. 6. Not as good as usual Parkes 1. Two terrible mistakes which cost goals. Did not look a professional player Brown 6 average performance. Blasted a good chance wide in first half.
Bodin 6. Great goal but went missing for lots of the game. Mansell 6 average game Sinclair. 6. Average game Gosling 6. Played some good balls but lightweight off the ball
Taylor 2. Looked the most likely to score but three good chances missed cost us Easter 5. Expect more from a player of his talent
Lines 6 Montano 4. Did not do much Harrison did nothing when coming on. 3
Crowd 4. Many left early Ref. 8 Newport. 7. Took advantage of mistKes

Nicholls 3 very poor today, his mistake for goal was unforgivable
Leadbitter 6.5 generally our best defender but didnt look to be moving totally naturally and his defending can be a little irractic Lockyer 5 not at his best today, struggled against 2 strong and confident strikers although he was not helped by his partner Parkes 2 as bad a performance as I have seen, I have said it before but Parkes is looking more like the Parkes of 2 seasons ago, overweight and unfit. He also appears to lack confidence and often makes bad mistakes/choices. Brown 5 steady if unspectacular would have got 6 but he turned his back for their 4th, never turn your back
Bodin 6 gets a 6 based on his outstanding goal, other than this he would have been a 5 as offered very little Mansell 5 not at the races today, tries but lacks creativity and looked tired Sinclair 5 looked laboured from the start today, lack of quality on the ball Gosling 5 anonymous
Taylor 4 poor for me today and should have done better with several guilt edge chances Easter 6 worked hard but didnt get the breaks, not helped by Taylor
Subs: Lines 4 offered nothing, played way to deep, couple of wayward passes and looked to me at half time that he was sulking Montano 4.5 offered little more than Lines Harrison 5 looked quick, strong and won some headers, should have played ahead of Taylor or at the very least should have come on 20 minutes earlier, know your players, Ellis is a Newport boy, he would have been right up for it today, his strength and pace would have troubled them more than Taylor
Crowd 5 quiet, in shock Ref 6 missed a few but generally ok Newport 6 thought they looked decent at times, we helped but I liked the boys up front. They didn't look like a bottom of the league team
