Police were wankers end of Not having met all 130,000 of them I couldn't say but from personal experience of staying in Paris for a few nights all Frenchmen are arrogant and can't drive.

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, not everyone likes the filth and some have seen or been privy to their unlawful ways ,however icant believe you are so nieve or blindfolded that you believe they are 100% trustworthy I will leave others to make up their own minds regarding our individual naievity. However I would invite you to nominate one profession that DOESN'T have a few bad apples. In other words there will always be a few Police Officers who overstep their authority; solicitors who defend the obviously guilty, Doctors who cover up medical malpractice, warehouse operatives who thieve a few items from the stockroom when no-ones looking, a bus driver who pockets half the fare when his mate gets on the bus, etc. etc, etc., I'm sure you get the picture. To suggest, as you seem to be doing, that all Police Officers sieze every opportunity to beat the crap out of anyone they can at a football match, arrest without any evidence and then secure dodgy convictions - have you ever read the CPS guidance on weight of evidence to secure conviction before they will even support preferring a charge; do you even know what I'm talking about now? And perhaps you'll realise why I consider you to be a bit of an asshole. Finally, I wonder if anyone can take anything you write seriously when they read that crap you append your every post with. Yes i do know the cps will only take the easy route to convictions ,which is why if you are arrested you behave a certain way and will get released without charge, most people who get arrested on trumped up charges talk themselves into a conviction. Do you drink before a game at all serious question, you also mention my signature please expand on this as there are two bits to0 my sig which one makes people not take my posts seriously

The police debate is pointless. Everyone has their own bad experience(s) which makes them think every copper is a Fool. I just wish they'd stick to their 'values' and not call 999 and ask for their help when they need it. Aghast sums up my views perfectly with regards to 'football cops'. I've got many mates who police football games. They cant wait for the games to finish with as little disorder as possible. They are top, top people. Normal guys and gals. The comments about milking overtime are funny. Those days are long gone. People don't realise the coppers you see at football are the same coppers you see in patrol cars and walking the streets. Yes, even the TVP coppers. The ones who gave me absolutely no issues at all last time we played there yet apparently gave so many such a hard time. Yes I was told to walk certain routes. I've got no issues being told what to do by authority, so I guess that's what makes me different from most of the anti-police posters on here. These are normal cops and are asked to do football matches and kit up for the ones where there's a risk of disorder. When I say kit up, I mean protective uniform, which I remember seemed to offend so many on our last trip to Oxford. If they look intimidating or over the top, tough shìt, get over it. What on earth does it matter. They wear it for a reason. They've got families to go home to as well. One of my mates was policing a game, walking down the street after the game with his helmet off briefly, had a group come out of no-where and throw a brick at his face so he lost about 8 teeth. inb4 he deserved it for being a copper because ACAB Yes, there's some idiots who get a bit handy. But I've never had force used on me by a copper, and I know why. you raise an interesting point , about dialing 999 , why shouldn't people as after all everyone pays several times for the police , same as any other paid for service really. If you were forced to pay for say a service that helped you out if your car was stolen ,would you not use that service even if you hated it. There are degrees of emergency if someone came up to me in the street and got lippy and insulting would i dial 999 like a lot of others would nah , however if i saw something serious would i ring the police ,depending on what was happening yes i would ,that's not hypocritical , it's just helping some random stranger not the police so that part of your post is largely irrelevant to hating someone based on their choice of career. just say for example you hated someone for whatever reason, they could be your binman ,doctor, fireman etc, would you stop using that's service you have paid for and would you really go out of your way to help them if they needed it. Lastly your friends may be filth but not one of them will ever tell you anything they do that is slightly wrong, they will tell you what you want to hear, again if you were in the street getting a twatting and so was a pig which one do you think will receive attention first, clue it won't be you

Nurses and paramedics treat people based on most pressing medical need not on what clothes they are wearing.

Your last sentence indicates a police officer and a regular Joe have been beaten and you questioned who would get treatment first.
I clearly misunderstood.

yes you did the post was clearly about those already there, as in would you wade in to help your mate or help the filth, or would the filth help one of them first or help you first.
But i do know someone who went quickly through a&e because they knew him through his fiancee who was a paramedic, i don't mean before the serious cases but ahead of the broken bones etc

Were you arrested for shoplifting when you were a child? A couple of posts ago you appeared to suggest there was some form of collusion between the Police and the CPS. There is only one thing that convicts people, and that is called evidence. The point I was making in my earlier post was that there has to be a 70 percent chance of conviction before the CPS will allow a person to be brought before the courts. So even someone as biased as you must surely be able to understand that a lot of people who have a case to answer don't even make it to court. several people have now quite reasonably pointed out that the Police are normal people doing a job. Most of them have families and mortgages and bills to pay. Fancy that, they don't get put in a cupboard when they finish work, they actually go home to a family life. Who'd have thought that? Also, you seem to be getting rather confused over your hate directing. In the example above you seem to be aiming your ire at the Paramedic profession. Are you now suggesting there is some form of unholy alliance between the Police and the Ambulance/Paramedic personnel, a sort of filthy clean routine? I wonder what the Fire fighters are up to, I don't suppose they are above suspicion. I mentioned earlier that it is difficult to take anything you say seriously after reading that strange appendage to all your posts. You asked which one I meant. Do you really have to ask? OK then, the sentence dealing with bacon is faintly amusing. The stuff about razor blades, pain and self-harm is worrying. It suggests a person with serious issues. If I were a doctor I would be referring you to a Psychologist, but then again we all know what a bunch of assholes the medical professionals are, don't we?

Convicted only on evidence, but many people have been convicted on false information and untrue statements by the old bill, look how long those Irish blokes spent in jail,or the outright lies and statement tampering over the Hillsbourgh tradgedy. I didn't think Inee was talking about medical help but who would the police help first, one of their own or a member of the public. The Police have no authority if no crime has been committed, unless they feel a crime will be prevented, this means they can overstep their remit and use that as an excuse if needed.Otherwise what right have they to round up fans who have broken no law and not let them freely go about their business of walking what route they choose to reach their destination I am of the view there are many good Police officers but like all institutions they do close ranks and cover their own asses. Also Inee has explained about the self harm and problems he has experienced.

sorry to have to disappoint you but i have absolutely no agenda what so ever against the medical profession or indeed firemen i havent mentioned them in a bad light at all, i merely pointed out a fact about a good friends treatment by medical staff do i agree with what happened to him ,absolutely why not.
I knew you would be referring to the bit about self harm what i find worrying is people like yourself decide that if someone self harms they must be so stupid that no one can take them seriously quite the opposite in reality ,a lot of psychologists are indeed asshats as they were trained along the lines of very outdated research etc. To help people with mental issues requires not only a piece of paper but an understanding of issues that cannot be taught in anyway.
Lets break it down so even you can understand i will add comments to each bit for a bit of clarification
Hey brother Razor Blade, I need you, once again,I run my fingers down your edge to see, if I still feel pain (the words refer to the need to feel normal in what would seem an abnormal reaction to some, there are many reasons for this ,like depression where one feels absolutely detached from reality and feels empty, numb and worthless inside, this is often heightened by prescription meds, it's catch 22 you need the meds to function but often the meds can make you feel nothing, but without the meds you can feel a lot worse). Now I am cutting, I feel the ripping in my flesh. (pain which gives an immense feeling of relief as it proves you are indeed still alive). Now I'm bleeding, I'm satisfied (see last statement ,it not only hurts it also bleeds the satisfaction comes fro realising that you are indeed still able to feel and are not a machine).
so hopefully you now understand what that particular bit of my sig means, also hopefully you will come to realise that people who have any sort of mental issues can actually be taken seriously and are not assholes, far from it, many many people in all walks of life self harm, it happens, i really do hope you are never affected by these issues in a first or second hand way.
Me i regularly self harm it's no secret and has been discussed many times, even last week i used my mate stan to get over our loss to barnet, it happens Oh and by the way doctors no longer send you to a trick cyclist at every opportunity as many modern gp's can help more in the long term, i get help from a forum member as they might not have a poxy bit of paper from a uni but they understand in a way not many so called professionals can.
The reason that it's in my sig is believe it or not it can and does help people with similar ailments as it shows them they are not alone,(some thing that so called sane people cant comprehend)

I didn't know you had mental health issues and for that I apologise unreservedly. I still think, no I know you're totally wrong in your view of the Police, both as individuals and the body. However if you are suffering in the way you say then there's no doubt in my view that this is altering your perception of things.
Try and remember footies only a game, and whilst we all care passionately about our club, is it really worth injuring yourself over a narrow loss to Barnet?
Once again. I apologise if I seemed harsh in my assssment of you. I hope you learn to manage your problems. I won't comment on your situation again.

I apologise if I seemed harsh in my assssment of you. I hope you learn to manage your problems. I won't comment on your situation again. Hi no need to apologize i'm big and ugly enough to take it on the chin, we will agree to disagree with the police, i've seen too much over the years to have any other opinion. At this point in time the forum and club is more than just a club, quick backdrop, my mental state went pop 5 years ago but in reality i've always been depressive it just took over 40 odd year to admit and seek help, Thats when i met wendy ,she doesn't judge me but she is there ready to listen or talk. I used to tell wendy about the football family which she couldn't grasp. on the 13/3/14 the whole world collapsed in an apocalyptic way we lost our Daughter 2 weeks before her 22nd birthday, we really were on our ackers and i asked if anyone had an old shirt and teddy to send her off with, this is where wendy saw what football family mean't, as ffs members, forum members and even the club helped us in more ways than anyone can imagine(it's a debt that we will never be able to return). Matchdays are still horrendous in this house as Ann-Marie -Irene used to sit with me and listen to the match, so as you can imagine those days are harsh. Before all this the only reaction i knew was to kick off, but now i self harm as it makes me feel something, as i said someone on here gives up their own time and helps me and wendy with our issues, i will not reveal their name but all i can say is this without my posts on what happened to us an ordinary couple, then they wouldn't have got in touch. we are moving forward but its a long slow process which we have only a limited amount of control over, it's difficult to explain the way these illnesses take over our whole lives, the majority of the time it creeps up on people then bang it's got you. I have posted quite regularly about depression and other forms of mental illness, and how to spot the signs and to try to help those who may be succumbing to it and to raise awareness as more people than many realise suffer in some ways. another reason i have laid everything bare here is if it helps just one person then my own suffering has been worth it. You mention altered perceptions, you are correct but in a more positive way than you realise, again for everyone who suffers the perceptions are unique to them, for me i had hardly anything, the one thing i did have was the love of wendy and it made me realise that even if you have nothing left of value that as long as someone was around who loved you then things really were ok in the grand scheme of things. I don't want sympathy, i'm not a victim merely and ordinary person who suffers with the black dog(call it what you will) and in the even grander scheme of things my issues are trivial to those many people go through in life, would i swop everything to be 100% well again, no i would not as this illness has been a real eye opener and life changer, so really and i'm not taking the p**s or being sarcastic, feel free to call me an asshole as it really doesn't affect me, can't stand being wrapped in cotton wool so to speak, i really am lucky as im so un pc it's not true and can take a hell of a lot of criticism and what some deem abuse and would prefer people were honest, even me muh calls me an asshole sometimes ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Feel free to comment on my situation anytime you want as i put it out there so others could see and as i said if it helps just one person help others or understand how debilitating this is then it was worth all the arguments etc. The sig was and is contraversial but anyone suffering will understand it and realise there are others out there who feel the same ps lets hope it 0-4 gas result today

However, the flip side is that it can lead to you defining yourself either by your "illness" or by the way you cope. Personally I am always uncomfortable with people who label themselves as a self harmer. (or anything else for that matter) In my experience it can lead to people not then seeking a less maladaptive coping system as they are bound up in a vicious cycle of pain-cut-relief by definition. I fully accept the fact that cutting does indeed help, in fact for some it works so well they never seek less harmful coping strategies. I'm not suggesting it's the case for you, I don't know you well enough to judge (poor phrase, but can't think of a better one) but it would make me feel happier if you defined yourself in more positive terms or didn't define yourself at all!

Hugo i can see where your coming from and you will understand this ,i could label myself as a total non entity due to the way i feel, however i'm being open and honest and i do self harm it isn't a badge of honour or shame ,unfortunately at this stage in my life it's a statement of fact, It is also not an every day thing as it was, If you remember some of my posts they really challenged what we as people take as the norm, i'm not afraid of labels, i have found for me personally it documents where i am in time at the moment. so find it useful to reference back to see on days of total clarity how much i have progressed forward. Also looking back the labeling has changed a few peoples perceptions of what mental illness does to not only sufferers but those close. As an aside looking back self harming label is much better than the suicidal label i had a few years back where i was totally out of control, so in effect it is a more positive label. Being totally honest i really do not care what people call me , i've heard em all ,loon spazz, spacker, mental case and even worse, but they are merely words and i'm lucky enough to not let those things get to me. so in honour of your post i might change my username to mr non entity labeled donkey pilfering loon bellend asshat dimp bollork nagh just jossing that's the dark side of my humour ![](http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/happy/happy0193.gif)
