Garry Monk is their best bet if they want to move forward.
Johnson will take them down and try to rebuild next season:

Just had a gander on OTIB, there's a thread about an organised Booing of Lee Johnson! Yep, you read that right! They're a struggling newly promoted Championship club, who did they expect to come in?!

HA HA HA HA HA! What a bunch of clueless clowns!
Thats them down!
Best bit was the inbreds on Radio Briz calling up and stating how much they hated him as a player!
Good riddance to the Sheed! BRISTOL DERBY IS ON NEXT YEAR!

It's funny after all the talk of 'we want...Moyes, Pearson, Warnock'. It's funny that they slate him and promise to boo him before he's even been appointed, then wonder why managers and players don't seem to want to come to the massive Bristol City. However, I'm not so sure that it will be a terrible appointment. He did well with his resources at Oldham, Barnsley are now doing well after a poor start and he has links with City. I'll save my laughter for a while.

This is from memory, but I think it was in the book "left foot forward" by former Charlton striker Garry Nelson (good book by the way). He (or another player) picked up a serious injury (broken leg?) while playing at trashton against the sh1t, and as he was being stretchered off they were singing, "you'll never walk again".
Nice place.
