By the sounds of it 3.0 is flattering and should be more. Mildenhall excellent save just then. We win some,draw some and lose some. I'm disappointed but onto next week and hopefully a win. Sadly goal diff taking a pasting today - others scoring 3 and 4 - we losing 4 |

Let's just hope we respond well, just like we did after our last thumping at home to Newport.
Our form and performances have dipped over the last month or so, these were always going to be our toughest games of the season, we've played Oxford, Plymouth, Accrington and Pompey who will all be in the top 7. We managed to get 4 points out of it.
These kind of results happen sometimes, let's knock it on the head, and push on.
There's plenty of games left.
I think top 3 is now unrealistic, but no reason why we can't be top 7.

Are they? The league table up until this afternoon suggested otherwise 3-0 suggests a lot more ! Leyton Orient beat them at Fratton last week. We wiped the floor with Orient. I guess Newport are a tad better than us aswell? Seeing as they spanked us at home? It means nothing. These results happen sometimes, still plenty of games left |

Shocking performance but I'm not surprised looking at the team sheet and formation.
Mansel played on the left midfield in the first half and only DC knows why??!!!
We were doing so well and looking so solid with 3 at the back against the better sides lately but it's all been ripped up since he brought Lawrence in to the side and we look dis jointed and confused with and without the ball.
Not happy.

Disappointing result for such great away support, as ever.
Northampton are out of sight now and I can't see Oxford or Plymouth being caught by anyone.
But we're still right in contention for the playoffs despite only 1 point from the last 9. The bad form needs to stop now though. Gaffney is off the boil and Matty has stopped scoring. Easter seems permanently unfit. Bit worrying that. There are currently about 9 sides with realistic chances of 4 playoff slots, so it's going to be interesting.

No we were in the conf last year. You know what I mean. Irrespective I think that could have had a bearing on his tactics. I hope not. Completely different manager for Pompey and teams for both. |
