When I started this thread there was doubt, dispair and thoughts of disappointment. How things have changed.... The team and the fans are doing their own talking. I don't think I need to comment as frequently as others appear to be aiming high these days As long as it stays like this I will remain upbeat without needing to comment as often on this thread. October looks good for more positivity and results. Keep up the positivity and I'll be quiet! No bumping for a while from me. Good news some will say. No bumping? I thought you were made of more positive stuff than that Rich! You must be loving this run! I'm still not on the bus though.

I am loving this run Hugo. Its quite unbelievable how our fortunes have changed. I have kept a low profile as the team and the fan base are doing the positive talking for me. Leadership is needed when others doubt. A back seat can be taken when so many are leading the charge.
Do I still believe we can be ground-breaking? Absolutely. Do many of the fans and many of the team believe we can be ground-breaking? I think they do.
Exciting times. The bus must be full now but I'm happy to jump off to let you on any time.
Hugo, thanks for bumping!

I've kept quiet for a while. This result clearly requires a bump of this thread. The bus is rocking!!!!

I've kept quiet for a while. This result clearly requires a bump of this thread. The bus is rocking!!!! Convincing wins against Telford and Alfreton and I'm on. Refusing to get carried away just because we dicked on a struggling SPL team.

Today's game came just at the right time I think. Only one win in five and really struggling in front of goal it was a perfect match to score some goals and get confidence back up. Hopefully we can take that into the league now. We haven't been great this season but we're right in the mix regardless. I hope we don't revert back to hoof ball though it's what's got us into this mess and it started with blasting it at kuffours head and hasn't stopped since.

The Ground Breaking in my opinion needs to come from within. We need to support these lads through lean times when it doesn't quite run for them. We are where we are and more than ever they're gonna need our support not only in attendances at which we are amazingly resilient but also in patience.
We've got a squad full of triers and lads who want to pull on the famous quarters, yes they'll make mistakes, but differently to previous seasons it won't be for the lack of effort. Let's not panic buy, lets wait for additions that fit into a slightly different philosophy. We can definitely do this. UTG

Just for clarification - can someone tell me what "we are where we are" actually means? I've read it a lot since we stumbled into relegation.
We all know where we are, and we all know that we know it. Telling us that we are where we already know where we are doesn't tell us anything about where we came from or where we're going.
Is it some sort of Sat Nav thing? Or Buddhist enlightenment? Or b*llocks?
Good win today though. Pub team, mind you.

Jesus, that's all we've had, flipping lean times. Tell me about it !! We were in the 2nd tier when i first started going. Telford is a big game, i hope we are still looking for a decent striker but agree they have to fit. Dorchester was fun but i dont read much from that result in relation to our league campaign - the real test is how we bounce back after a tough few conference games at Telford.

I think ground breaking might be on. Win our game in hand, beat Barnet only 2 pts behind. The bus must be packed now. Exciting times. It's a never ending bendy bus with room for everyone.

I tried to keep away for the whole of November but as Hugo said its not realistic to keep away from gas chat for a month.
It's time we sorted Barnet out. Lets put them back in their box and start a ground breaking run that we can all get excited about.
Maybe Barnet play better football and get good results when the conditions are mild. The long cold winter is coming and they might not be prepared for it.Just maybe they might not like these icy conditions.
The thread needed bumping and I'm hopeful of a good result against Barnet. Its realistic to expect a draw at least but to be honest we can beat anyone on our day. Stretching 2-0. Ground breaking 3-0. Ground breaking Gasheads go home happy!

I don't know how it will go today. A win will do us all the world of good. In some ways we really have nothing to lose tonight.
I'm on the bus but getting off a few stops early. Destination play offs. I don't know if I'm going to like it there but that's as far as my money would take me.
