I'm positive, hoping, praying even - but I'm not getting on any bus or joining in with any groundbreaking motivational nonsense - after what happened last season. Only if and when it is mathematically certain we have won the league then I'll clamber on with everyone else. In the meantime I don't want to do anything that tempts fate by looking too far ahead, being too confident, or too anything in any way!

A view last July..... Who would have thought it..... we are close to achieving what was impossible to dream about....
Ground breaking goal - a remarkable top of the league.
Is this possible? Many would think not. A good start would soon galvanise the fans and offer hope. It seems we have a team that might be hungry for success and a manager who is talking a good game, building relationships and if this transfers to the players, some fans might think the impossible might actually be achievable.
Back to today....
So six games to go. Looking at these fixtures 18 pts does look possible. We will take 9 points from the home games and Dover and Kidderminster look winnable. On that basis we will have 15pts. If we draw on Saturday then we have 16pts. Win and we have 18pts. It does look like a ground breaking finish.
Macclesfield v Bristol Rovers W Bristol Rovers v Chester W Kidderminster v Bristol Rovers W Bristol Rovers v Southport W Dover v Bristol Rovers W Bristol Rovers v Alfreton W
So lets look at Barnet fixtures. Could easily lose against Halifax. Might drop a point at Alfreton. Unlikely.
Alfreton v Barnet - easily drop one point here Barnet v Nuneaton W Dartford v Barnet W Barnet v Halifax - could lose this one. Kidderminster v Barnet W Barnet v Gateshead W
Strikes me, its going to be close. I think Halifax might well do us a big favour.
One things for sure it wont be decided this weekend and it depends who can hold their nerve.
Lets have a look at the form over last 10 games. Clearly, we are the from team. Win our games and our ground breaking dreams could come true!
