FT: 3-2 Run had to come to an end. Win 6 of the final 7 games & we go up. UTG Not necessarily...

To think we lose our best player because of a Wales U 21 game. Lets face it most of us could get in to that team, (if we were considerably younger).

I think Tbone has a point because after Friday most Managers would have left their side as it was. Danny certainly didn't deserve to be dropped and we have in the end worried about a lower team than let them worry about us which can be construed to being defensive. It's disappointing because they clearly were not on that good a run and that's what concerns me about now having to play so many teams at the bottom as we are almost a "cup-final" to some. I think Tbone is just doing his best to be as negative as he can. Most Managers would not have us in a position to be pushing top 7 let alone the automatics, so I for one will support his decisions, yes he will get some wrong but so what, anything above mid table this season is a bonus. Leds didn't deserve to be dropped but it's a squad game, we looked shakey in the middle of defence against Cambridge, so I think DC wanted us more solid there & brought Parkes back in. it amazes me that every time we lose, some on here pop up with comments about selection as if they know the players & standard of their fitness inside out & think they could Manage the team from the comfort of the key board. Yes it was disappointing we lost today but I guarantee whatever the formation and personnel we will lose some games, we move on go again on Sat, UTG He has a point but also Tbone would have driven Taylor to hearts himself. Even a broken watch is right twice a day. Sounds as if the midfield was a bit soft today...

Is this TBONE bloke for real? probably not to be honest I'm still undecided if he just says some things for attention. However, I agree with his comments on leadbitter and parks. That's why I can't make up my mind if he is a serious poster or just an asshole.

Love how this forum doesn't allow any questioning of anything DC does but people were, laughably, on this thread earlier blaming Mildenhall for the first goal.

Not really sure what you mean by not allowed to question anything DC does. Do you mean people will disagree with you, if you do. That's not really the same thing, is it?

No. You play a different record. Leadbitter was one of our best players on Friday. He should not have been left out for Parkes. You know that as well as I do. He wasn't, he was left out for Clarke, unless Parkes was playing LB and nobody told him, perhaps that why we conceded 3 goals? At the end of the day DC's got us to 3rd by his decision making, whether you think he's clueless or which is more than most of us are ever capable of doing. Incorrect Sir. Clarke played on Friday.Parkes came on as a sub.So Parkes replaced Leadbitter. It aint rocket science is it?

Sounded like DC was not happy to settle for the draw and we got caught on the break, sickening but I would rather go down like that than trying to hold on for a draw.

Still think we're gonna do it automatically.
I think as a club and fanbase we cope better with being the chasers than the leaders anyway!

Carlisle could still be a play-off contender..? this league is so bloody close, it can change so much from one week to another!

Yes we lost but equally we could have got at least a draw. I actually thought it was a decent game with both teams going for it. I think Darrell set them up wrong, I would have gone as he did Friday. I was expecting Darrell to start with 3 centre halves, I am glad he stuck with the 442 but wish he stuck with the back four that started against Cambridge as more balanced and Led's pace is such an asset. First 20 mins Carlisle were in control Lines and Clark were lost against their narrow diamond in midfield, neither Matty nor Gaffney dropped in on the lad at the back of the diamond so they passed and ran around us. Darrell coould see that and changed it. Lawrence joined Lines in the centre with Easter in the hole behind the front two to pick up their spare man. Worked well and we looked much better. Thought Lawrence made a difference but early in the second half he was completely out of steam and often out of position leaving us exposed again, particularly when we went back to a 442. Either is is unfit after his injury or totally past it? Defensively we were not at our best today, I thought Carlisle were ok but certainly think we deserved a point on balance. We must all stay positive and support Darrell and the team, 7 more to go, 4 wins and 2 draws will probably see us in an automatic spot so ALL to play for!!!!
