I thought we played some very good football yesterday, but there was this gaping hole in the middle of our defence. Probably enough said about that and no Lockyer. J Clarke was very good all game in attacking positions - he's got a strong shot on him and hopefully will be able to let fly more often in future. The big issue just now is that Gaffney needs a goal. He should have put us 2-1 up in the first half and too many of his shots are straight into defenders. Apart from that, COYB. Gaffney looked off the pace still yesterday. |

how do you know he had the budget to bring someone in? I don't just like you don't know, unless you're saying the new owners aren't supporting him as well as the old owners did? the new owners have already spent a heck of a lot of money and have supported dc with mcburnie and possibly lawrence so maybe we shouldnt expect too much? |

Lawrence was signed well before the takeover and I doubt McBurnie is costing a fortune, Wael & DC implied their was money to bring players in but DC choose not to spend it. |

Also he says something along the lines that of our injuries not being as bad as people think so hopefully Mansell and Sinclair will be available very soon. Lockyer, McBurnie and Harrison back for the next game now as well which will make a huge difference, we lost a game with a weakened team and were poor in the weakened areas, with these players back plus Mansell back from injury we will be back to our best, back to winning ways Saturday |
