Arrived at Stevenage thinking we would really have a go from the off, what I watched was a water poor first half of over cautious long ball crap, apart from a five minute spell when we passed to each other. As usual a better second half but still far to much lump it to strikers being out muscled. Really feel we should have had a go for ninety minutes not just the last twenty for last nights game. Still three points Saturday and back in the autos

i don't blame dc at all,he put a team out he thought could win the game and if the players can't step up and beat Stevenage you got to question their quality and bottle I bet he is as livid as a lot of fans but still proud of how they have done this season and so am I,we haven't been playing well the last few games but I'm sure they will put it right v Exeter If we don't win our next three we don't deserve to go up automatically simple as that,I think we will win them as I said before had a bad feeling about Stevenage after the Northampton game You must be one of the few then who thought starting with Gosling was an odd move, plus dropping one of our most improved creative players, Montano, was a mistake. You do have to wonder if DC thought a draw last night might have been good enough, looking at the squad he selected. did I say he was right gos started? We are short of options (fact) and to be honest montano was shocking last week v yeovile we might as well had mildenhall on the wing

i wasnt at last nights game but when ive watched us play with the 3-5-2 system its always struck me how high up the pitch leadbitter and brown play so to me its 3 defenders not 5 and that system has worked well many times this season imo I disagree. They play deeper than they should and when we are defending, we get outnumbered on the wings as Parkes and Clarke don't come across to cover. I rate Brown as a full back but he looks uncomfortable when pushed further forward as he lacks the ability to take people on and beat them. DC sticking to 442 over the last couple months has moved us up the league from a potential play off team, to a team fighting for automatic. That's why the change back to 352 seemed so strange to me im not saying he was right but i saw the formation change coming before the game and said that somewhere on here, our away form hasnt been great with 4-4-2 recently so i think dc was looking to bolster the midfield with an extra man in the centre.

I feel a bit uncomfortable when I read things like, "DC got it wrong last night", in that I don't think people who come out with quotes like that don't give enough credit to the oppositions manager. DC is not going to get it right every time, that is impossible, and some credit must surely be given to other managers. Sorry, but what influence does the opposition manager have on our team selection?

Sorry, but what influence does the opposition manager have on our team selection? So you say our performance was purely down to team selection? It's clear what nobby is saying and is very valid. If you wanted to get technical about it, you could argue that the opposition managers pre match noises could have a decisive influence on our team selection.

At least we kept a clean sheet. We've leaked a few goals of late.

Come on! You don't need hindsight to realise Gosling is useless, if he isn't then why don't we see him more often?
