Out of interest how are Rovers fans ever going to organise a mass boycott when they couldn't even organise a meaningful protest of any kind against our worse ever Chairman? Bloody hell man, Hamer's only been in the job 5 minutes.

Made yourself look a right tit here. I don't think he's congratulating him for tweeting, think he's praising Hamer for the way he voted. I also have no problem with BSS posting pertinent club matters that many fans would like to know about. You seem to have made an issue when there isn't one! Well that depends. BSS has tweeted that Hamer voted against. I know that's!! He tweeted that because Hamer told him? BSS tells us what is relayed to him, does he not? So it must be true? Everything you are told is 100% true? Like I say,it's a worthless competition which no one gives a monkeys about yet many are blowing a gasket over it. As for making an issue. Where does that come from? I've made a comment which people can take or leave. Just move on and take no notice. Do the question marks when mentioning truth mean you don't believe it's true? You seemed to make an issue of BSS tweeting and that his communication had previously been poor in your opinion. Surely the point of a forum is that people either agree, disagree or discuss further the points raised. If everyone just took no notice and moved on then there would be a lot of 1 post threads!

The lad who's petition has almost 5,000 signatures has received an e-mail response from the EFL:- "Nathan Firstly, thank-you for your emails. I understand you do not agree with the decision to welcome 16 category 1 academy and under 21 sides into the competition. That is absolutely your right. However, please do be assured that the decisions taken are always done with the best interests of our clubs in mind. The reality of the situation is that the competition is very much in need of a refresh. Attendances have been in decline and it has been quite challenging to get TV audiences fully engaged for a variety of reasons. These are two areas pivotal to the success of any competition. By introducing a new format we hope it will start to address these concerns as well as also helping to create more and better home grown players, which is a key objective in making the change. It is worth noting that the new format for 2016/17 is a trial for one season only and a full review will take place after the final in April 2017. This issue aside, I am interested in how you feel supporters could actively contribute on an ongoing basis. I am keen to develop some mechanisms so we can get valued feedback and insight. Best wishes Mark" If anybody wants to sign his petition here is the linkA typically patronising "Thanks but whatever you say we are going to do it our way" response from the EFL, including the obligatory, "What else would you like to mention to us for us to add to the ignore pile?" I quite simply do not get what the hell they are on about regarding getting TV audiences fully engaged: The only Paint trophy game shown on TV is the final as far as I am aware. A final played between two U21 teams, should it happen, would be of even less interest to fans and TV viewers, in my opinion.

Listen, I've nothing against the bloke and he had a meaningless role before and it may not be much better under the new regime but he is as much use as a chocolate teapot. The position was a farce before and we will have to see if it gets better under Hamer. But I feel he will continue to spoon feed information to us and will still be a nodding dog. Roll on the new batch of televisions and portaloos. Sterling work.

The fans director role was a bit of a farce under the old board, being excluded and misinformed etc. When the takeover happened BSS came on here with a good, positive post about how the shackles were off and that things looked more positive. Since then we've heard nothing from either of them so either they are not effective or the new board hold fans directors in the same contempt as the last lot. Looking at the Jim Chappell situation again I hope there is not a pattern of fans voices being sidelined.

The only purpose of the j.p.t. is to give clubs in the bottom two divisions the chance to play at Wembley...although the playoffs give four clubs this opportunity every season...often with one or more of these in the not final anyway (Barnsley) . Scrap the j.p.t.. Create a new regional cup competition. 4 regions , all clubs from prem to conference n/s included. Have a regional final at neutral grounds.trophy presented to regional champions. 4 winners drawn in semi finals. Winners play at Wembley. All clubs have the options whether to play full team,reserves,u21s ,academy or youth teams their choice but they represent the full club and all results recorded as such. Accrington Stanley 5 v Manchester united 0
