I can't understand the logic behind this, we organise a club tour with a club we have built up a relationship with solely because we both play in the quarters but days before the tour is due the club announces we won't be wearing the traditional quarters. Surely Macron could have produced at least the first team shirts for the tour, if not, why not just use last season's Errea shirts for one more match? www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/no-quarters-for-sabadell-3202674.aspx

No quarters? - They'll have to bed down in the bus then.

We can't both play in the quarters anyway!

IMO the kit the boys are currently wearing looks awful. MACRON appear to be as useless as the previous manufacturer of our kit. They gave it the big-un when signing a deal with the club, talking about their brand, blah blah blah and haven't even managed tp produce a set of kit for pre-season, "shocking".

Thing is when was the deal done? If it was done late well... We arent their only customer and we dont exactly play in onr of the generic kits. Would be nice to know a bit more about what has happend but i see this as the club have been going about the business of reviewing everything about the club and this was probably done late in the day. I would hope that next season would be better when we get into the deal

In all likelihood I expect the raffle to be gone for 2017/18 and a solid sponsorship agreement in place which is unlikely to change for a while. If the shirts take a while to come out next year I'd be inclined to judge, but this season I'd rather it was a bit close to the wire with the shirts being announced and launched for the sake of a better deal for the club. Maybe it's just me but the Macron gear makes us look like a proper professional outfit in warm up, especially alongside the stadium improvements over the summer.

I'll have my daggers out if this happens next season. I just think we're the bottom of there to do list as we were the last ones to order. We're probably told this and may have got a good deal as we will have to wait. But next season I hope I here ready a month max after the seasons ended

This is based upon kit release, preseason etc. If Macron cannot meet that, then there is either a discount or no deal. Why the deck would anybody sign up to something to get mucked around and left short changed? BRFC has lost money here and another chunk of feel good factor has been lost.

You don't know whever rovers knew this. We may have known and got a good deal by macron so we would get our feet in the door and have a slight delay this season.

So if they did know, you'd think the club would announce something along the lines of...Kit release date later than usual due to new deal with Macron...turn the negative into a positive somehow and let supporters know rather than silence. They didn't know feck all imo.

It's not later than usual yet It is by a week? Seems the club want to make a big thing of it by the presentation at the Open Day, but given that's on a workday for most of us, I would imagine that will be lower key than most seasons. Still think it's bizarre going to Sabadell without the quarters. Pretty sure we'd think it was a bit disrespectful if Sabadell came here pre-season and played in their training tops!

I am sure that Rovers have informedSabadell that the new kit will not be available for the friendly. I am also sure we will have told them this some time ago and not at the last minute.
I suspect the club have held off making an announcement regarding release date until all parties were sure the release could be assured on that date. It's a shame the team can't play in the new strip in Spain, but I wouldn't be surprised if we play in their away kit first half and their home kit in the second.
Have a great time, I will be on holiday in the area, arriving on Thursday. Our holiday was arranged and booked before the friendly date was announced and couldn't adapt our itinary I'm afraid.

I wonder if the kit will turn up in time for Scunthorpe away Lets hope the team turn up first game of the season, cant remember many first games where we have put in a good performance. Probably best i can remember is over at twerton when we came back from three down against ipswich, mr dobson in charge briefly from what i recall.
