Anyone see the Cambridge Accrington game?
Cambridge were 2-1 up but had a player sent off in injury time and conceded a penalty which their keeper saved.
They then conceded a 2 pen right after and had a 2nd player sent off!
The saved the 2nd injury time pen too and won the game 2-1!!
That must feel amazing!!

Dont think their player touched Taylor for the sending off haha! Well, it looked soft to me, but he's goalside of his marker, with only the keeper to beat. You'd have to be nuts to dive in that situation. (Mind you Matty has done a few dodgy dives in his time.)

Looks like Hartley should have kept the second out. Great finish from Gaffers and Colkett.
Our fans sounded way louder than theirs. Apart from that cluster of 10 or 15 scrotes to the left of the away end their following is generally pretty placid.

Our fans were louder, I've just got back in with a Chinese, beer and a sore throat
Ntfc were nothing to worry about, shame we are asleep for the first 20mins of every bloody game we play
About time DC stopped dicking about with the back four and gave em a chance to settle in with each other
Gaffney looked great today, have no idea why he wasn't starting against Sheffield over Easter

I've not been impressed with Gaffney so far this season. He's appeared slow and his touch has not been great. This was evident in the first half and I thought "here we go again". But, give him his dues, what I saw from him in the second half was by far his best performance this season. He could/should have had a second goal. Let's hope he has turned the corner and the second half performance is what we will see for the rest of the season.

One thing that really made me smile today was when they were playing the Monkees song, Daydream Believer, over the tannoy at the start of the game. The sound went down for the chorus and the announcer shouted for everyone to join in. Now, I don't know what the Northampton fans were singing cos they were completely drowned out by almost 1,000 gasheads chipping in with a rendition of "Cheer up Lee Johnson". F*cking quality :-)

Just watching the highlights there did the ref hold up his spray can instead of the red card?

He doesn't have the ball under control and a man tight on his back, he wasn't doing anything with that so he dived, definitely not the first time he's done it haha

That must be one of the softest second yellows/sending offs ever, Taylor's "dive" was a bit embarrassing to be honest when the defender hardly touched him. Not sure about Roos goalkeeping for either goal, particularly the first one where the striker would have had work to do if he'd stayed in his 6 yard box.
