Why keep messing around with defence etc surely we need settled side no wonder we keep going behind and have no clean sheets this season, although will be more than happy to eat humble pie if we get out of this tonight but sorry cannot see it.

It's half time in a 90 minute game.
Imagine if every side losing just gave up hope half way through....
We wouldn't be in LG1, Liverpool wouldn't have won that cup, Red Rum wouldn't have won a race.

That's not quite true i did congratulate the lads on the pitch after Daggers game, and yes i did chip in on the DC thread who knows what DC thinks from game to game but i admitted i was wrong at the time as along with many others but whatever he does he seems to get it right most of the time just think a settled defence would be better.

He did/does have a point though; not just the defence but players are in the first XI one game, the stands the next, pretty hard to keep continuity going.
I know we have a big squad and not enough places but there are far too many changes for each game.
The annoying thing about tonight is that yes its a great comeback, but again a shambolic first half that if we'd been a bit more clued up we would have won.
Anyway a point is better than none, especially when 1-3 down but these silly goals conceded have got to be tightened up on.

The OP has a strong point, and it's fair to debate.
This could/should be turned into positivity because there's no doubting that we've got a special thing atm.

I was at the game and we didn't deserve to win based on the first half alone, it was a complete utter shambles and we were thinking keeping it down to 4 would be the best we could hope for. Credit for the team for pulling it back but although we didn't deserve to win its a game we could have won. Certainly a lot to work on put it that way. |

Certainly a lot to work on put it that way. thanks for that,i listened on the radio and it sounded poor,the trouble with the 4-3-3 for me is our top striker is on the left wing?? anyway there are valid arguments on rotation and formation but i believe the op should have waited until after the match |
