In the film, The Longest Day, Richard Todd played Major John Howard of Pegasus Bridge fame. In real life Todd was part of the relieving forces (7 Para) parachuting in on D-Day.
The director initially wanted him to play himself which was declined.

The word caterpillar with an -ar at the end is actually a misspelling. When Dr Johnson wrote his dictionary he spelled it wrong but it has since become accepted as the correct version. It was originally -er at the end.

That is a crap fact, as the two things are totally unrelated. We want facts like this..... The Clown Fish (Nemo to those that don't know) have the ability to change sex. If you put two males into an aquarium, they have a power struggle. The strongest will then change into a female, and become bigger and be the more aggressive. |

Then pot a black giving 8 points while leaving all 15 reds still available. Not sure it has actually been done but the theory is there. |
