Why the hell was Bodin or Lines not playing today? What the hell is going on!

After the recent playoffs talk, can we talk about relegation again if we lose the next one?

Progress. 5-1 last time, only 4-1 today. Don't have to play them again! At this rate we'll get a draw against them in 2018.

To suggest DC is practically throwing the game is absolutely ridiculous. I do think he has a bit too much faith in some of the fringe players, but expect those positions to be strengthened this month. Roll on Saturday UTG. He has picked players he knows are sh** Puddy, Lawrence, Mansell and players not up to league 1 in Moore and Sinclair ahead of the likes of Taylor, Colckett, Lines, Bodin, Montano, Clarke etc. If someone on here thinks doing that would do anything other then almost certainly guarantee we dont win then i don't think you are being honest. I dont believe he deliberately threw the game but its the strangest line up since McGhee played Parkes on the Wing and Virgo up top. Anyway may that be the last time these players start. In some peoples eyes we have two sh** keepers. One of them has to play

I can't believe Reading are as big as 5/2 away to City today. 3rd in the league, City in terrible form and Reading's game was called off Friday so should be fresher. I've paired them up with Brighton to win both teams to score in a double. Little Lees last game ? I hope not. Boom, we called it 😉 both called rovers result too unfortunately 😏

Let's hope we don't meet Charlton in the play offs. If we we finish in top 6.

Did anyone notice that we let Charlton have 11 shots on target over the 2 games, but that resulted in 9 goals?

Six points from nine over Christmas is a good return. Rovers are where I expect them to be with this squad. Ultimately poor defending/marking has cost us again. Not a good day but you win some, lose some. Sometimes draw. Like I have mentioned before today....most of the players are wet behind the ears and lack the knowledge and experience to thrive at the moment. Home games are not so bad as the mem works in rovers favour but away from home is a different matter. People should show a little respect to the squad that have got BRFC from conference football to tenth in league one. Someone called them dross....that's a little ungrateful in my view. The current squad are good enough to be upper midtable league one ...that's not bad...in fact its the best in 17 years now. Or do we have a divine right to be higher than that ? Bad day at the office....underlines the squad will need improving on to take the next step forward.
Last time BRFC got promoted to league one we finished 16th with 53 points and -8 goal difference.
I suggest Rovers will improve on all three of those statistics this season.

Commentary on the game said it was school boy defending today. If true that worrying to say the least I'll be there next Saturday to watch them put that right hopefully by fielding the same team that played on Boxing Day 6 out of 9 is a good return

2 goals conceded from a long range free kicks into our box & ball watching, again in our own box was the reason we lost today - this is basic defending & concentration in your own box, nothing to do with personel changes or formations. These players work with each other day in day out in training, so should be able to adjust if they are good enough. We probably are good enough for mid table, but need reinforcements if we are to challenge top 6. So many keyboard managers on here that feel they know better than DC, for where we are in this division & the resources we have he has he is doing a fantastic job. Time to support the manager & the players UTG

Against the better sides these results will happen, bury,Cov and dons aren't good sides and the games we won v them are just papering over the crack If DC wants top 6 we needs quality in quite a few areas,at least he's not this month to have a little shop

Charlton made just 2 changes from their Saturday starting line up,and the 2 left out both came on as subs.Seems to fly in the face of DC's freshening up comment.Manse,Lawrence and Easter having almost zero game time recently was probably another major factor in today's failed project. They must have been rusty and to throw all three in has to be questioned.Stark lesson to be learnt today imo.

Why the **** any body wants to talk about the **** is beyond me. Today we were awful in defence, Tom lost his player twice from set pieces and our defending generally was far too loose; that said, still do not understand why DC would ever play Liam Lawrence and / or the beard in front of Ollie, Linsey and or Bodin. I am not too surprised.
