Not a great day, feel for those who made the trip, but we have to look at the big picture, and we are progressing nicely - three points v Northampton and we'll all be happy - UTG and role on with a few January signings, onwards and upwards.

Six points from nine over Christmas is a good return. Rovers are where I expect them to be with this squad. Ultimately poor defending/marking has cost us again. Not a good day but you win some, lose some. Sometimes draw. Like I have mentioned before today....most of the players are wet behind the ears and lack the knowledge and experience to thrive at the moment. Home games are not so bad as the mem works in rovers favour but away from home is a different matter. People should show a little respect to the squad that have got BRFC from conference football to tenth in league one. Someone called them dross....that's a little ungrateful in my view. The current squad are good enough to be upper midtable league one ...that's not bad...in fact its the best in 17 years now. Or do we have a divine right to be higher than that ? Bad day at the office....underlines the squad will need improving on to take the next step forward.
Last time BRFC got promoted to league one we finished 16th with 53 points and -8 goal difference.
I suggest Rovers will improve on all three of those statistics this season.
Nice to see that you agree with me.

Nice to see that you agree with me. We have players who can function at this level. Our problem is that the manager chose to give contracts to those who are not good enough. Puddy: Mansell: Lawrence and Gosling. AND he wouldn't recognise a good goalie if one dropped out of the sky and bit him on the arse. I think a bit of DC is still in non league, and another bit is still in Division 2.

That man, Darrel Clarke, has took Rovers a million miles in the right direction since the sad,bad days of the Higgs era. Two promotions in his first two years of being a manager and mid table in league one in only his second season as a Football League manager. It may pains you how well the man is doing but expect more mistakes from DC as he is learning. The old saying: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink; players defending, doing basics!

I am entitled to my view, and my view is that DC let all those supporters who went to day down by choosing the wrong players. And goalies? Tell me, without using the f word, because it is slang for sexual intercourse, and I really don't want to with you, but tell me what goalkeeper Clarke has got in that has been classed as good? Remember Mildenhall was not Clarkes player.

strange today.
What was our team selection all about today, Goalkeeper and 4 defenders were expected... what was going beyond that I don't know.
we have just strung 2 solid performances together where we have looked good all over the pitch - why make 6 changes and pick players who have played next to no games at all.
I guess most people would automatically look at defender's saying we conceded 4, why is it we have been fine if the previous 2 games - first me you have to look at the midfield not being good enough/no form.
Can't understand resting players unless they have asked to be rested.
Seems like have decided to give Charlton another 3 points today.

No, he offered contracts to ALL the first team squad if they won promotion.... it might just be a wild guess of mine, but there might be some correlation between his loyalty, their team spirit and our fantastic day in May... I for one am proud of a man who keeps his word, rewards results and even when he moves some on is well viewed by his players

We were in grave danger of losing today as soon as the Team sheet went up with the inclusion of Lawrence and Mansell who both had virtually no match minutes this Season. This is no way to give confidence to a Team who have been frail at the back even in some games we have won. DC made no mention of his bizarre selection today and perhaps he should have more faith in the fitness of Lines, O.Clarke and Bodin to play 1 and a half to 2 games in two days. You should play those who are in form before playing those who are rusty because we ended up beating ourselves today.

Thankyou Lord Sugar for your intervention, having said that, when a poster calls another an effing ...... it surely goes' beyond an acceptable response and attacks the poster not the post. There are a few on here who are on their final bleedin warning, one of which sensibly decided to edit his post quickly. So please, even when we lose try to attack the post not the poster. Cause i will bleedin act! Enjoy your evening all.

Remember Mildenhall was not Clarkes player. But it's like being bought a new car and complaining you don't like the colour. Finding the right keeper is hard - many top clubs struggle with huge budgets. The idea he is 'rubbish at buying keepers' is silly. I agree too many/ wrong changes today - you can say that. But there is a bigger picture. It's the ungrateful, unfair and frankly illogical criticism of Clarke that winds people up.

It's a good job we weren't playing in the Checkatrde Trophy we would have been 5k as well for playing an under strength team. Spare a thought for the traveling Gas, going all that way to basically see our Reserves. Love Darrell but he got it wrong big time today and should have been big enough to apologise to the traveling fans. We are not good enough to be making 6 changes after 2 good wins, no side outside the Premier league is, especially when one of them is one of the top scorers in the Country. Ironically if 3 of those left out today were called up by their Country he would have called the game off
