Yesterday I was absolutely livid and fuming that the snake could do such a thing, after sleeping on it I have calmed down a lot and now accept what has gone on, still not happy about it in any way but not nearly as full of rage as yesterday. We didn't replace him but I think we have definitely got enough talent in the squad and players here already to give us a top ten finish, which for one I will be happy with, I read last night the snake only scored 4 of our last 20 goals so obviously we have goals throughout the team which we haven't had in a long time. The people slagging the club off and messaging Wael about the snakes deal are bang out of order, I can understand people being upset and angry about no one else coming in yesterday but that particular deal was totally out of our hands. I still have the utmost faith in DC and if he couldn't get who he wanted yesterday at a price which he thought was correct then I'm all for him waiting until the summer to improve our squad, we are still a club who are on the up with the brightest manager in my lifetime in charge and in my opinion very good and honest owners, and if we hear positive news about both the ground and training ground in the next week then I will be even more positive. TL:DR I'm over it, we are still going in the right direction. The goings on are what makes football the game it is, the highs ,new ground, new training facilities, 2 promotions, new owners who seem to know and above all care for the club to the lows of losing our top striker, who many think has desserted us, I may look apon it differently in that not only did M.T give us so many goals to enjoy, he also brought revenue into the club. I say good luck to him, he is going to need it!!!

It feels now ,the buzz about the place ,our momentum ,the feel good factor, the club on the up has hit the Buffers ,and it's all come crashing down , I truly hope we can come back from this tragic event.

I've reconciled the situation in my mind - I firmly believe he went to city to cook up some attention (rather then an apparent proposed offer from Cardiff) & though city didn't really need him he is a decent player for pocket change and a potential disruption to our season was a no brainier for them. I also believe if he does well he'll move on pretty quick as his stated desire is to play in the prem and it doesn't take much work to see city could be some way off that during his 2.5 year contract. So it's harsh on us but we were a stepping stone for a talented footballer who found career changing form with us. So are the sh** if he scores goals, the fact they are our bitter rivals makes it harsh but that's football. Disappointed we didn't seem to have a plan b but hopefully good news this week and a first away win in the weekend will remedy that. Good luck to Taylor it's make it break time and there's plenty of people in bristol that will hope it's break.

It's the final piece in Lee's relegation jigsaw.

I just hope that the fleas of a thousand camels infest his underpants. Mind the gap benchwarmer.

Just had a customer come in who supports the dark side asking questions about the snake and he just dropped into the conversation without any prompt from me that sh**ty paid £300,000 PLUS they had to buy up his contract as well... so maybe we got a bit more than we think we did
Not sure how this works, will the player get that money or us ??

Well i look a twonk in the other mt thread i thought he would stay, Not gone down well in Inee towers , I'm fuming to the point that wends keeping an eye on sharp objects, Wendy is devastated. We will forever be grateful to mt for helping us especially wend when we lost Ann-Marie Irene, wend is trying to decide whether to move all the matty bits from daughters memorial cabinet(yup that's the effect it's had) as every time we look at it we feel like setting fire to it.
One good thing to come out of it is Wend is becoming one of us Bristolians when she heard city she cussed for a full 5 mins. For me joining the sh** is unforgivable, i don't talk to my dads side of the family as they are teds, and if i saw mt on the street needing an ambulance i would walk off laughing as he ain't worth the effort of a free 999 call.
Maybe his venomous snake mind has been at play and affected team performance, from the bottom of my heart i hope his career flounders at the sh** and he realises he really ain't that good and ends up back where he started thinking where did it all go wrong.
the last thing i have to say to mt is this You are one of the vilest turd sniffers to have ever walked the earth you make idi amin and pol pot look like saints, i hop your time is enjoyable at the teds ground but advise wearing a face mask if you don't deliver as i will find it amusing when you walk of the pitch drenched in the fetid hepatitis infested flob of the crowd. you've made yer bed now feck of lady garden and suffer in it, you lowlife piece of pond slime

I honestly dont think he is, or will be, that bothered. He shook on a deal with his boyhood club and went back on it, then ridiculed them when scoring against them shortly after. If a player can do that to a team he grew up supporting then he would have no problem f**king over anyone else. they[oxford] also f**ked him over by releasing him as a young professional shattering his dreams of a football career but he came back the hard way via north leigh and forest green. we are all fed up but hes 26 years old and his wages have at least been doubled and hes playing in a very high quality league so i dont blame him though i understand that others dont feel the same as me. I feel exactly the same as you. We had a great two and a half seasons out of him, and now he`s off to a higher standard of football. I`ve never ever witnessed such a pitiful exhibition of childish feet stamping, as on this thread.

That is correct, we had "added value in the deal" !! How does that work? If he's on say £5k P/W, did they pay up the whole of the contract 18 months and pay it to us? Thats the first I've ever heard of this.
