Interesting that most of the posters on the Halifax forum reckon the disallowed goal was a good un, definitely over the line.

I noticed HtE. But I was too busy kicking the cat to reply. I missed the cat by the way too much red wine had been drunk by then. I was lucky not to fall over and break my neck. Speaking of red wine, it's 5.30 pm here. The leg of lamb is in the BBQ with the veggies. The second glass of a particularly crap vintage is just passing my lips.

Any highlights to be seen yet? Jedi Gas has put his usual stuff on youtube. but he's up the far end from the Rovers goals. And his battery ran out before Ellis Harrison's Shin (now there's a log in name if ever there was one) came to the rescue.

Fantastic sight, The Mem in all its glory! The pitch maybe. Ground itself is hard to look at. You need to take a little drive back to Twerton. You'll understand that our place is fine in comparison but it needs some cosmetic work at the very least. It's very good for this level and L2.

HTY predicts a draw! Expectations of a 6yr old lowered! He's now singing Goodnight Irene! That had to be a real joy Hugo. I love hearing about your lad, reminds me of when I was a kid, going with Dad ?

Food in the Bristol Room is looking good. Pulled pork rolls etc. The Mrs loves pulled pork. It's a thing of beauty

Cracking win that, thought the best team lost to be fair but that's life! Our mom was Mansell in my view, proper captains performance that was, thought Ollie Clarke battled well also. Fair play that you mum had morphed into Mansell'. Please say thanks to her

Agree re Monkhouse. Can't see how he is keeping Gosling out of the side. There are some very questionable things going on, same thing with Brunty who is more than confused with the situation. It seems that DC has a side to him that means if you get on his bad side then you will not get a game. I am not sure yet whether this is the best way but he only wants players who are truly commited. I hope this way of managing works. I can understand Brunts frustration & I guess Gosling must be out of favour right now.

I am a big fan of his but this injury is really going to take some time to get past (hopefully he will eventually). He's given Ellis a second chance and it sounds like he deserves it. Brunty has every opportunity to work hard and break back in (was on bench yesterday). I also think Monky offers something that, if we take him off, we will miss... Just his height and presence up there is something Gosling wouldn't offer. He's very young still however and he will be used when required - hopefully this will help him become the player he can be. I'm more concerned by Daniel Leadbitter to be honest. He's very strangely not been seen in a while now... Whilst I wouldn't say he started well, he wasn't the only one and DC seemed to rate him a month ago.

The Bristol Rovers twitter account said pre-game he (Gosling) had a slight groin problem, which as far as I can remember Gosling himself confirmed at half-time during the 50/50 draw.

ISTM that he may not be up to this level or that he may still have injury worries. I don't know what to make of it given his strike rate before and the glowing endorsements by DC when we got him. I don't know what to think.

He needs game time, lets not forget his assist saturday Yes, I was just asking what others think really as it seems that people, well DC, was saying he was overweight etc so I am wondering when he will be up to a full game. I'd love to see the guy do well Dins and I am certainly not slagging him. I hope to see him firing the ball into the onion bag and often. I am actually starting to feel a little hopeful for once.

For anyone still with Player (I cancelled mine as they usually end up on youtube and radio is on the bbc site now) they are on Halifax's player and you can access all their site with Gas player access
