Rightly?! Wow! I think supporting your own club and supporting this competition are two seperate things! Or does you reading the daily mail not allow you to see that?! ;-) How do you support the club and not the competition if you attend a game in this farcical cup? Jump the fence? Get in for free! Looks like we're going back to the 70's and 80's, so may as well follow in their footsteps ;-)

Just like last year, there's plenty of alternatives to attending the Trophy games while supporting the club for those who are bothered by that side of it.
Spend some cash on food and drink, invite family/friends to another league or cup game etc.

Christ,This season only just over and fans talking about boycotting. We have to go by the majority and get on with it and support our team. The boycotting did nothing to change things and like some have said in some ways got the sponsorers more notice than otherwise. Whilst not agreeing with the decision it will not stop me supporting the team. No, this is wrong. The majority of clubs voted to continue but the supporter numbers were tiny. Another season of boycotting should do the trick and kick this stupidness into touch.

If the whole crowd turned their back on the action for 90 mins then that would have a bigger impact and get debate going on the matter, rather than just not turning up......?

I wont be rushing to see over 30s and already internationals turning out for Stoke Ressies. I assume the likes of Liverpool, Man U etc are boycotting it themselves again

They will cite attendance, not whether people actually watched. The EFL are scumbags, willing to strech any version of the truth to suit their agenda. Sean Harvey is a dangerous man. And an arrogant Dam idiot, which makes him even more so.

I will not be told what to do by anyone and could not give a toss about being called any names - i vet if we got in the final everyone woukd go

The bigger picture is you are patching the way for B teams to be the norm. I will have no respect for anyone who goes. I was offered box 6 hospitality last season for 1 of the games but un politely declined.

It's a tournement with a big prize that would be a welcome boost to our coffers - we just have to play and beat the team in front of us - that's all I care about

It's a tournement with a big prize ..... For the premier league teams getting their reserves into the league, no doubt it's a big prize.
