Wasn't the 'hammering' that those over 80k were going to be 'hit' with something like £2.50 a week? I'd happily pay that and I earn less than 20k, why is it the richer you are the greedier you become and the less you care about others? That's obviously not a truism but it is the inference us poor can draw from the constant bullshit spilled by the mainstream press and regurgitated by posters online. Also, our corporation tax is one of the lowest in the developed world and under the labour proposal would still be lower than other Western European countries. Not that it matters because after the hard-brexit craved by so many of May's cronies airbus et al will say 'see ya' - and us young people will be left to clear up the mess left to us. Great post. When is enough, enough ? You are spot on in that. Like I said. I've never seen a country sompolarised in my lifetime and social media has had a massive impact in it. It's crazy that so many have a bloody full library in their pockets bit don't have the attention span to just take a couple of minutes, to check is something they have seen posted is actually true. We have access to so much information yet so many don't care to even look. I find that quite sad and we are supposed to live in enlightened times yet it's personal attack and vitriol that are used over substance and fact what worries me now is we have a PM who wouldn't debate or be interviewed for her own job yet we are supposed to trust this strong and stable PM to deliver a brexit, alongside the dinosaur DUP, that will benefit this country. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw yet another general election in 6 months time. I just cannot see any coalition with them to be workable. Hang on here.......those earning over 80k were only going to be asked to pay another 2.50 a week? And from that you expect Labour to raise billions? Is this kindergarten economics?

Wow, not only do we have a forum of football managers, but we have politicians as well 😀 In a fight for promotion or the play offs, it's whoever gets the most points or in the event of a tie then goal difference or then most goals scored etc. to decide who goes up or makes the play offs. Not the team who just misses out, but played the best football, or who played the most youngsters, or who has the most money, or the best crowds - those are the rules. In this country if, after a general election, one party has 50 odd seats more than the best of the others & poll 800,000 votes more than them, - I would expect that party to form a government & get on with governing the country. if the rules allow an agreement to work with another party, then those are the rules. We get another vote sometime within the next 5 years. Too much crying & moaning on social media for me, probably the same people who feel there should be no sports competitions in schools, to ensure the kids don't get upset if they lose.

So breaking it down to regions . All of Bristol voted LABOUR and every single MP now is LABOUR. Well done Bristol for not letting the top 5% who influence the newspapers and spread fake news control you..

Skidmore is the worst constituency MP ever

No, not all of Bristol voted Labour, but Bristol now has all Labour MPs, because more voted for Labour, that's how our system works. I don't read newspapers myself, so you may know more about what they print nowadays than I would. What I would say though, is with the NHS in the state it's in, with 7 years of austerity, social & mental care issues, little or no pay rises for public sector workers, with the biggest voting turnout in years, student debt, food banks everywhere & with a poor Tory election campaign, there should have been a Labour landslide majority & probably would have been, if there had been a different leadership team

Ask yourself why NOTHING GETS DONE! The country voted Tory and Kingswood voted with the majority. This Labour manifesto has really sucked people in and I thought it was just the students looking for freebies that fell for it? Do the maths ffs.

Corbyn engineered this election, if he had put in half the effort during the Referendum as he did during this election Remain would have walked it. Of course New Labour would have been reborn to probably win 2020 but to late for Momentum. Don't get me wrong, I like Labours policies, I'm a member I've marched, picketed, been abused on doorsteps and sang the Red Flag at counts. The Tories have misjudged nearly every thing, more than half UKIP voters were former Labour supporters. They will be a shambles for the next three years by then this country will be really broke.

According to the latest YouGov poll, only the over 50s preferred the Tories to Labour, and only the over 60s showed the Tories had a majority of the votes. Voter turnout was around 60% in the under 50s and about 75% in the over 50s. Many other interesting things here, if polls are to be believed: yougov.co.uk/news/2017/06/13/how-britain-voted-2017-general-election/

This country was already nearly broke, thankfully the ship has steadied. Imagine if those nutters had increased minimum wage by 25%, made Uni free! Put 77 million police on the beat?! Jeez.
