Not Evans finest game is it, and it’s the same with the rest of the team, Newport are bullying us. Hope Joey has a good word with the lads half time, we can beat this Newport side. Come on Gas!!

Everything just seemed too rushed and panicked this half, but if we keep it 2-0 I'll be a very happy boy.

Apparently, according to JB’s post-match presser, the lads in the team have taken to calling Elliot Anderson “Billy Elliott” - that’s an easy song right there . . . Are you saying “we’ve got Billy Elliot, he’s effin brilliant”?

Tisdale's tactics are just bizarre, it's seems to be just sit back and let the opposition attack at will! We are looking bloody good mind!

I love how they claim they lost £30 million thanks to covid and most of that would have been thru player sales - FFS 🤦🏼♂️

Can you lot get a grip please and just get behind the Gas. You all exhausted your opinions a long time ago now and this is becoming extremely boring.

My first away day in the FA Cup against Derby County, this recap doesn't quite capture the atmosphere of GulfofAden's video but a brilliant day for all of us who where there. Can't remember whio eventually knocked us out, Everton at home maybe?

After reading that article I must say I have moved from the fence to against when it comes to the fruit market and St Phillips. The development will likely be something akin to the harbour side developments, nice enough apartments for people living there but an area largely bereft of soul or character - an identikit stadia in an identikit development surrounded by chain restaurants and a weatherspoons called the punch bowl.
Meanwhile Rovers remain a punching bag teetering around between leagues one and two unable to fill someone else’s 20,000 seater because our league position is unattractive and the experience bland, we can’t invest in that dream of championship football (the fact this ambition is a dream is something supremely depressing for me) because we can’t generate extra income from someone else stadia and we pay them the for privilege of playing there.
I work for a local company and the key director is a massive sh*thead so unfortunately I’ve been to Ashton Gate for functions etc and I have to say FairPlay to them, sure they are in the position thanks to the rose faced billionaire but they are making the most of this facilities they have and the stadium itself is looking pretty good these days. It’s like the collapse of the Ashton Vale (was it there?) stadium is one of the best things to happen to them.
I agree with the original poster. We should do what the sh*t have done, albeit on a smaller scale and slowly redevelop our existing facilities, but I do doubt that will happen and I do hope my pessimism is in vain.
See you all up the Mem, UTG.
