man mark Kemar Roofe? he seems to have a free-ish role with the Oxs, so if we gave, say, The Beard, a free-ish role to follow the sod around the pitch and try to live in his pants, what have we lost in terms of 'formation'? The Beard certainly has the attributes; stamina, fitness, good tackle, good leap, low centre of gravity, tickly beard. given we often play 3-5-2 away, you would imagine we would have enough midfielders to be able to make it work. And /or decide the rest of the team formation after the above decision had been made? I don't think anyone in particular has to mark Roofe, or Lundstram, Sinclair and his teammates will hopefully just press and not give them the time or space to craft anything of note. I'm expecting the 5-3-2/3-5-2 to be put to good use this Sunday and hit Oxford where it hurts (the back of the net) on the break.

Showed my girlfriend the highlights last night, she was in stitches for Rory's first goal. Gotta say it did force me to raise my rose-tinted's slightly, watched it five times and those defenders are comical! To be fair to Rory tho, he did say the ball got stuck between his feet and his composure shone through in the end with the last dummy onto his right foot. Hope we hold onto him!!

Oh my days, that was the same level of hilarity/cringe as The Office, Dave was right, Belfield is a Bellend.

I don't think it is floating support. It's never the same crowd bar say 4-5k regulars, today was a holiday game and the extra numbers reflect that. Nowadays a lot of Gasheads can't make every Saturday, be it work, distance, finances or family. I do agree though, the south stand should be extended, if only to increase away capacity. And as always, more could be done to attract families/sons and dads.
Great effort today Gas, was fantastic.

Now that Matty Taylor is back on song and he will get 15+ goals we will finish top 7-10 no problems How many did he score today? You're such a nimcompoop, 2 assists in one game is a great return for any player in any game. Smile!

Quite sickening how so many on here refer to 'The clueless one' when we have a manager who gets more right than he gets wrong. More like a vocal minority mate, guys a borderline genius

What are your interests outside of football? And if it's just boring stuff like mates at the pub, fast cars and women - fancy joining my bridge club?

Enjoyed the podcast on my way to work this morning, good to see everyone else enjoyed it too, but... You should have gone Paxman on his ass and demanded he state we'd finish top 7!

Can't wait for this, work dictates and I hardly get to Saturday games. Of the handful of games I've been to this year I've gone in the east and west terraces for a better view and left feeling a bit disappointed with our support. So tonight me and my friends will be in the blackthorn helping to keep up the noise, supporting our lads and intimidating Wycombe. 3-1 The Rovers, UTG!

Not too bad tho, just above theaverage I guess. Kudos to Hartlepool and Accrington scoring £0's!

Well that was a bag of sh**e. Harrison and Montano were a waste of time today and it just wasn't happening in the midfield. Must admit I am losing patience with Sinclair and do wonder if Lines is better without him. Ya reckon!? Seemed to me his was the only guy able to retain the ball and did very little wrong until the last twenty when the whole team were cagey..

Agree with original post, definitely seems to have a problem with depth perception, and I'm not just alluding to their goals but everything that goes long and in the air. Shocking, Darrel needs to suck it up and make peace with Mildenhall! Worst keeper since Scott Shearer /:
