A pair of used shorts of unknown origin and a jigsaw with pieces missing. My God, times are hard.

I know I'm being stupid for not knowing , but where are all the missing clubs in the draw? Everton and Brighton are there. The Teds are not. So it's not just League position. Please explain for a simple man. The 7 Premier League teams in Europe are not in until round 3. Also 35 teams (including Teds) were knocked out in round 1. So that leaves 92 - 35 - 7 = 50 teams.

Are you sure that you aren't taking that literally. In sure the club can't expect a child to have an email address? Neither do I but I'm just going by what people are reporting on here. Hundreds if not thousands of organisations sell tickets and none I've come across have asked for separate emails but hey this is still Bristol Rovers It would seem from the renewal emails that I've received today that the email address is used as your username for the online system. That appears to be why the club want different email addresses for each season ticket holder.

Thansk for the info. Can you advise what the "account number" is on the on-line form? I seem to remember that the account number was on previous season ticket renewal letters. I'm not sure that it's on the actual season tickets themselves (I don't have mine with me to check). I think I've also seen it when buying tickets online. I expect that the club shop can provide this if you can't find I t anywhere.

The way I see it the club have contacted all ST holders whose address has more than one ST registered to it but only one email address. Would think those of us with a single ST and one email address will be notified ASAP. No need to panic! That's the way I see it. Just house keeping before they send our electronic renewal reminders Just for some extra info. I currently have season tickets for me and my daughter in the East stand. Both tickets will be linked to my sole email address. So the email I recieved was specifically asking me to allocate a different email to my daughters season ticket. If you've already got different emails for each season ticket then you won't have got this email.

Just recieved this email:
Important message for season ticket holders
We will be releasing our 2018/19 Season Tickets shortly and we need some information from you to make sure your renewal runs smoothly.
Next season we will be introducing electronic turnstiles and a unique Season Ticket card for every Season Ticket holder. In order to do this, we need a single e-mail address for each individual. We can see that you have 2 or more Season Tickets registered under a single email address, so if you could please update your details below, providing us with a unique e-mail address for every Season Ticket that you own, we can register this within our system and you'll be all ready to go!

I'm sure someone could help me...for the last 2 seasons I've had complimentary tickets for me and my daughter from a friend and before that I bought them individually..but next season Ive just found out by friend Won't be there to sort it out for me so I won't have that privilege...looked for prices online for season tickets but can't seem to find them...does anybody know how much an adult ticket and A under 16 ticket for the family enclosure would cost ? How do you go about getting season tickets in the east or west stand please ? When they announce the early bird or main sales they are never included due to waiting on renewals i guess. Any ideas? The west stand is usually fully booked so you would have to wait until the last date that season ticket holders can renew their seats. The east stand has always been available to all from the first day of sales in the past, but again you wouldn't be able to get seats that were already held by a season ticket holder until after the 'season ticket renewal' date had passed. Also you had to go into the stadium or telephone, no online sales. The problem for next year is that last year is the first time (at least recently) that season tickets in the east stand also sold out. So you may well have the situation that there are no season tickets until after the 'renewal' period has passed. Unfortunately that usually means that you'll miss the early bird prices. Your best bet is to be ready the day they go on sale and contact the club to see if there are any available in the early bird. Of course, there's a chance that renewals / early bird might work differently this year. p.s. Season tickets went on sale 14th March last year. Early bird ended 29th April.

I'd love to get one of these as well if any more are being produced. My daughter needs a replacement for her M*tty T*ylor one. She's told me that one needs melting down!

My first game was in 1983 and I think that today is likely to be number 1 in best games ever. The whole stadium was rocking throughout, the East Stand was definitely the loudest I've ever heard it. Reminded me of being back in the Blackthorn end. God knows what it must have been like in the middle of the North stand when Lee Brown scored! As we left I told my daughter to remember this day, as this sort of experience in football is very rare.

Great idea. Let's hope we get a 42nd minute goal as well to make for a perfect tribute.

The real gutter will be Oxford or Stanley dropping points...and us dropping points too! You'd have thought the chances of that happening are slim though? An interesting article in today's B Post says only 6 teams in 20 years have done what Rovers are hoping to achieve and it seems only one team has ever slipped up at home, Cheltenham allowing Mansfield to slip past them in 2001/2 when they lost to the then Champions Plymouth. Although though there's no suggestion there has ever been 3 clubs involved in the final day battle for promotion. This statistic actually makes me think that we've got a good chance. To start with it's 6 teams in 20 years from league 2, so in almost a third of seasons somebody overtakes a team on the last day to get promotion. Also, I'm guessing that in a fair few seasons it's all done and dusted by the last day anyway. Finally, as already pointed out, in most seasons there probably aren't two teams that can be caught. And as a bonus, we only need one of them to draw, it's not like we need them to lose. I think that the odds of one slipping up are at least 50/50 based on history. p.s. It's going to be Oxford who slip up...

Sky Bet League 2 – Match A Leg 1 (7 v 4): Thursday 12th May (7.45pm) Leg 2 (4 v 7): Sunday 15th May (6.00pm) Sky Bet League 2 – Match B Leg 1 (5 v 4): Saturday 14th May (7.30pm) Leg 2 (4 v 5): Wednesday 18th May (7.45pm) Two chances if we finish 4th!! We might be playing ourselves at Wembley!

I think it's a real 50/50 as to whether Accy or Oxford will slip up on Saturday. However, if it is play-offs for us then I'm super confident that we can do the business. The team have done it once, Daryl 3 times, and our form has been excellent. I'm going for a Wembley win.

Problem is where do to draw the line with wages? If say a Championship comes in for Taylor and offers him £5k per week do we match that, then do have to pay Lockyer similar money to keep him happy, also the next decent player we fear losing? Will Gaffney be happy to play alongside a striker on possibly 5 times his own salary? Could that £5k be better spent on Taylor's replacement and two or three better players? Yes and this is a big part of my initial question... Now we have rich owners, are we in a position to match the Taylor wages offer and then say to Gaffney & Lockyer and others ''carry on doing well and showing you deserve to player higher up, then WE will give you those kind of pay rises too, then you can go up the leagues with BRISTOL ROVERS, not somebody else!''. AND then buy other better players we need also!.... I'm not assuming, I'm hoping (and wondering/speculating in this thread). Are we now, at least a lot closer, to being in that kind of position financially? UTG Maybe the answer is to reward players with some very generous goal/win/clean sheet/promotion bonuses. Did you see that Ranieri rewarded Leicester players with Pizza for each clean sheet!

It's not easy finding a player who can score you 20+ goals. We've got the money now so I really hope that we offer enough to keep Taylor. If we're promoted then I think he'll stay. A good season in League 1 will surely get him premiership interest. As things stand I'd be surprised if the interest is any higher than Championship.
I think that a season with Rovers in league 1 is probably best in the long run for his career. Hope we pay him enough to make him realise that!

I see that Portsmouth announced details of how to buy play-off tickets yesterday evening. Although they can't confirm whether they'll be Match A or Match B yet. Although as already pointed out, this is a moot point as we're going up automatically anyway. I just thought that some of the Oxford lurkers might be interested.

It certainly seems odd to have evening kickoffs for the saturday and sunday fixtures It does but its all to do with the TV schedule. Sky want to show all play off semi finals from all three leagues so you can only have one of these during a weekday then at different times over the weekend also with the last day of the premier league as well. League two would also be their least priority so they dont care if there are any trains on Saturday or Sunday evenings. I think that you're right that it'll be Sky Sports deciding which matches they want on which days. Given the the only thing left to decide in League 2 is who plays Wimbledon, then I'd have thought that they could get a move on and make the decision. Last year the play off semi final tickets were on sale on the Sunday straight after the last game. Surely Sky have to make a call on this in advance otherwise the teams won't be able to announce ticket details on Saturday evening.

My season ticket is a different colour this year. I think they might notice! Save it for next year's Championship promotion. It is Blue next year, what colour is it now? Magenta?? Mine for the East stand were blue and yellow this year (adult & child). Next year I think purple and black?
