Jock Someone I know said they saw you around town with The Krankies. Were you showing them around for DC? Maybe as a defensive midfield duo? Hope this isn’t letting a secret get out. That was Nicola Sturgeon pal, another that doesnt know when no means no. Nae good mid/defenders up here, although being sensible for a second Pete Hartley is playing well for 'well! Think we shoulda kept him pal, the one that got away a bit like most the GF's i've had. Your so right jock. Sturgeon is Mrs browns secret sex touch. (Watch this space) But god dam would I take Hartley (or anyone over captain calamity).

How much will it cost me to get you to wipe out Mrs brown and her boys for me?

What’s Sweeney done wrong? People say he’s not the player he was last season, ive not seen him have a shocker this season. He was class last season and because of international breaks he seems to have been punished for it. Unlike golden boy. Sweeney needs to start, d.c (and I 100% back you) needs to sort out a leader. Peter Hartley anyone?

Tom Lockyer needs to be stripped of captaincy and quite frankly dropped, or better still binned. Too keep a clean sheet at Scunthorpe would have been impressive with your best defenders, we didn’t quite hang on but our last great away defensive performance was minus sir tom. Battled for 93 mins then today 93 seconds. Awful awful player let alone captain or defensive organiser. Steve Elliott’s little toe on his wrong foot sums Lockyer up.

At the risk of being unpopular i sincerely hope he does play Saturday. He is still by far our best defender and we are lucky to have him. But been our worst for too long. Sweeney gets a bit of stick on here at the mo (I didn’t attend the Rubbish cups for OBVIOUS reasons so can’t take them into account) but I’ll agree he’s not been as good as last season but he’s been better (and is) than tom. Not ever been convinced by locks. The best I’ve seen of him was that pairing of him and ollly Clarke in front of the back 4 under John ward. It didn’t suit olly tho.

Why couldn't gasincider have just said this is the first place? It could have saved about 10 threads and hundreds of posts. And caused 100's of pages and thousands of posts based on no facts at all? What a waste of bloody paper

Want to bring some football chat back to the forum. Without being overly negative: suggest a player and trait (skill/ or tactical) that if they improved it would make a significant difference. Leadbitter- for me he’s a massive confidence player. I would like him to focus on doing something good in the first few minuets. Not in a negative sense. But get stuck in early, or first time he gets the ball, just attempts a Worldie pass or a shot. I feel he tries to ‘creep’ into matches, start off steady and go from there. The problem is his style isn’t steady. This approach hampers his main attributes, attacking, beating players and putting question marks in the opponents heads. His defending is better when his attacking is. Full throttle from minute one. Same player. I want to see better quality crosses from him. He gets in great positions but really let’s him self down with the final ball in the box. Apart from that he’s a quality player.

How many points have we dropped on this game? Are we any lower in the league than this morning? FA Cup games are the only games we can make big money this season? In fact our season probably ended tonight and now it's just a fight for survival till May. Eeyore. Roll on next August then.

I think it’s becayse when alQ bought us those people saw that they were very rich and thought that they would spend millions on players. Even though WAQ never once said they would. Where as we all knew Higgs and co didn’t have much so there wasn’t as much pressure on them. Part of the issue for me is in the 6 months the Al Q's and gamer were often quoted as saying that staying at the mem isn't sustainable for the clubs future, since the UWE debacle ende, saying at the mem is now the preferred choice- something doesn't add up here for me and I believe that it is a funding issue. Agreed. I made this point when the news broke about staying at the mem. Our chairman said it plenty of times. I still trust in the alqadi’s but everything is very static.

They were supporting BRFC ~ you should try it Dick And in doing so registering their support for a competition which jepodises lower league football as we know it. Hats off to all who took the difficult decision not to attend tonight. I’m season ticket holder (before anyone wants to play the do you ever watch us card) and this was not a difficult decision for me to miss this and all this comp.

Over 1500 there. Shame we aren't big enough a club that we can't ban them from all future matches, or even leaving their own homes Over 1500 people happy to accept B teams. Thanx for contributing to the potential end of football. How long till this Rubbish fest of a cup is credited to the success of the england youth teams this year. End this farce now.
