I think someone mentioned on a previous thread that it should be like tennis where there is a limited number of challenges throughout the match, say 3 per team each half. That way the number of stoppages are limited, it’s the manager’s call not a remote bunch of people in a call centre, it would then be for significant events only and the referee would be more in control of the game.

ben garner could bring lambert with him as assistant imagine that I was thinking that he might be able to twist Pulis’ arm to support him until the end of the season as he’s not doing much else at the moment. |

Serious question, and I already know this is going to be controversial, but if we were ever to play Spurs at home, do you think Lance would refrain from saying “I smell gas” and the scoreboard identify us as Rovers or Pirates to avoid any misunderstanding?

With those coming back from injury if we can keep the core of the squad together it could be a good season. Would love to know when everyone is due back to be fair Dunne was just asked in the post match interview and I think he said that JCH and Little should be back training with the squad this week or very soon. Didn’t mention Abs, THD or Davies. |

He's an outstanding coach with great judgement, eye for a player and tactical brain. Do you know why he was dismissed from the post of assistant manager at Villa after an “internal investigation”? |

I agree. Got some posts saying JCH to go (believable) and up to 3 or 4 more with him! If GC was told that I don’t blame him for leaving. If we keep hold of our core and even add a couple it will make his decision even more baffling. This move could even be a blessing in disguise. I don’t think the owners will do anything other than hope an internal promotion manager works again for peanuts, but you never know. They might surprise us yet! Come on Wael. Prove we are a bigger club than Mansfield and let’s give this season a real go! Otherwise what are you here for? From what little I know about Arabic cultures I would have thought that loss of face would be more hurtful to the AQ’s than it would to your typical European, sorry, xenophobic Brit. So they might be forced into spending a bit more of their own cash in this instance to bolster their reputation. |

They won’t muck about if things get worse. The trouble is that he was pretty good at turning around our sinking ship but then again the Stag’s players might all be snowflakes. |
