Lets hope that if the deal gets done in time and he can feature tomorrow that he lives up to the hype!
Can't imagine how bad this place could be if we lose 3-0 and he has a poor game....

Direct quote from Dan at the BP: “ Bristol Rovers are closing in on a deal to sign midfielder Kamil Conteh from Grimsby Town, Bristol Live understands, after the Gas met the 21-year-old's release clause which could lead to a club record deal for the League One club should an agreement be finalised. Negotiations between the two clubs are believed to be in the final stages while personal terms aren't expected to be an issue.” This is either absolute bollocks and the BP are just guessing or Conteh definitely isn’t coming here as ‘personal terms’ were to be an issue. Clearly Dan must have some indication that we’d met the release clause.

It is, but just a shame we’re having to do it again, although in fairness the weather on Tuesday was atrocious. I presume we’re not allowed to give Oxford an increased allocation to help get to the 75% requirement? We had already given them more

We are delighted to be offering a limited number of £10 tickets in the Brunel South Stand for tomorrow's fixture versus Exeter City.
You can purchase your ticket HERE. In order for the Brunel South Stand to become fully operational beginning with our game versus Oxford on Saturday 27th January, the club is required to prove full functionality through a 75% capacity test event beforehand.
To ensure that we meet this 75% requirement for tomorrow's game against Exeter, we will be offering £10 tickets to all supporters seated in this stand.
For all supporters who have already purchased a ticket for this fixture within the South Stand at full price, the club will be refunding the difference in cost via TicketMaster credit. This credit can be used towards future ticketing purchases with the club. For all supporters who have already purchased a ticket elsewhere in the stadium, and would like to move into the South Stand, this can be done in-store whilst stocks last, before 5pm tomorrow.
Thanks again for your support, and we look forward to seeing you all at The Mem tomorrow night.

Him and his mate on the other wing spent all match falling to the ground, its a bit embarrassing a top Championship club had to resort to cheating to beat a mid table L1 side. You do have to wonder what other decisions also went their way, no cards for kicking the balls away, the goalie blatantly time wasting and 10 yards stolen at every thrown in were the obvious ones. The linesman on the west side missed every offside all night. Gaining advantage at throwins is rarely punished, strangely the ref gave two foul throws against us. Vale was penalised twice at Blackpool too, our throw ins are mostly appalling

I'm a ground hopper (Reading fan too, but that's another story). I've been trying to buy a ticket online for the game on Saturday v Blackpool. It has been incredibly frustrating, with a confusing system which I believe entails signing up as a member, and then possibly signing up for something else that enables me to make online purchases. I have been down endless dead ends trying to do this. I usually get messages about not being a member, user name not recognised or password not recognised. At one point, I was sent a link to update my password which took me to a page belonging to Lincoln City! I had the same problems with them a few weeks ago - I believe they use the same ticketing software. So far, so bad. Efforts to obtain help from the club have also failed. The ticket office emailed back and asked me what game I wanted a ticket for, I replied and that was the last I heard. A guy called Pete Weymouth sounded helpful, so I emailed him, only to find that the address given on the club web site was invalid. I then emailed the manager of ticketing (name of Clare), and have not heard back from her. I'm in my mid seventies, and need to be able to sit for a game. If I just turn up on the day, am I sure to get a seat? Or will I be forced to buy a terrace standing ticket? Grateful for any advice. Welcome to our world! We have a new stand that has been granted a certificate to be half full, I am sure there will be spaces available but would suggest ringing Pirate Leisure 01179096648

I sense it's the cost of using it rather than the initial installation cost. How often do we really need it, once a season at most, even by Saturday it won't be required. I can't understand why nobody has invented a heated cover, basically a waterproof electric blanket! Remember the heated tent Leicester had, protected the pitch from frost and could train on pitch. May have been very expensive to generate the hot air, can’t Remember My understanding is they are rerouting the water from the urinals to the under pitch drainage channels to 'warm the pitch', so drink plenty beforehand and at halftime......

1000 extra tickets available on the day in a stand not yet used, for a fixture which sold out in hours, what could go wrong? I’m leaving Bournemouth right now to camp outside to be one of the lucky few UTG Sorry to disappoint but there are already 3,000 queuing
