Jaakkola 6 bit shakey to begin with, but improved as game went on.
Little NOLE Davies 7 good replacement for Lockyer Craig 6 little nonsense, bit slow. Leahy 6.5 wasn't as bad at the back as suggested by Walsall fans, could of done a little better getting forward.
Upson 5 way too slow. needs to be in CDM position not CM. Ogogo 5.5 good tackles, needs to be in CDM position not CM. Sercombe 5 couple of glimpses, but over run in the middle. Clarke 5 not one of his better days.
Nichols 4 didn't add anything to the game, easily bullied off the ball. Adeboyejo 6 battled well, but wasn't going to achieve much on his own.
Subs:Hare 7 good performance, perhaps not as willing to get forward as Little might of been, but did well. Clarke-Harris 6 didn't look 100% as expected, but still did more in the short time he was on than a lot of the players managed in a full 90 minutes. Bennett 4 one or two glimpses, but went missing.
Crowd 4 very quiet. Ref 5 Whistle happy. Wycombe 5 not as bad as they usually are, but still falling about whenever the opportunity arose.
Best bit was the use of the new TV especially enjoyed the goals montage (before it was repeated) and the away shirt announcement. Still waiting to see if it will show goal replays!

Hopefully Bennett is moved on ASAP. I'd really miss him walking out onto the pitch ignoring the fans and looking out for his girlfriend to wave too, the most enthusiastic thing he did all season last year (while he was here).

Think you're getting a bit carried away about Telford has he hardly started for Bury in Div 2 last season and only managed 6 goals, I'd have him back as a free transfer as he seems to know where the net is but can't see he's worth a £50K transfer fee. As far as a manager how can a club on the verge of Admin appoint a manager? More to the point who's made enough to accept the job!! Had to chuckle at the irony of the bolded! Telford scored 14 goals last season if you take into account his cup games. I'd have him back for 50k, IMO he'd do better than Jak's and would love to see what he'd be like alongside JCH.

According to my Dad he was cycling to work this morning and came past the new UWE outdoor training facility just down from holiday inn and there is now a big rovers sign under the UWE sign. Anyone else seen it?

Now that Bonham's off the table we can focus on a quality keeper, I'd like us to sign a young Dutch keeper from Derby I heard he's immense.

I didn't think my criticism of Sinclair would shine through that much! Still good luck to him at Walsall.
Hopefully my avg rating goes up next year.
Thanks for the stats IVFK.

I think he'll stay with us until his contract runs out, then seek championship on a free. Deja Vu.

I don't think we are as far away from having a decent squad as many on here believe. We obviously need a g/k hopefully Jack, as for the rest... back four was excellent last season and if it aint broke ......but Tom may not be here so in comes Alfie, better prospect , bigger, scores, and better distribution, Craig there to guide , THD on the left or do we play him as creator in midfield? any way have James C and Kelly as back up, just need a good right back. Midfield ,the problem area plenty of braun there but need creativity, if not THD then signing required , together with Russe given a chance ,that should be that. Up front give Reilly and JCH a run together, convinced Gavin will get us 15 plus goals a season if played regularly, gets into right positions and sharpness comes with playing regularly, he is still quite young then we have excellent prospects in development squad who need to be in first team squad now, then of course there's TOM 2!, I have seen him have some brilliant games this season and he is an excellent footballer so what to do with him, can,t continue with him as striker, clue is in that description so could we use his creativity in midfield behind strikers? is he tough enough? perhaps a full preseason to prepare tactics and formations will tell us. Prefer to use development squad than loan signings who are not going to be regular starters, why develop other teams players and not our own? Some will say the usual 'too young' and all that , don't agree, I know its on a different level but Ajax captain last night was only 19 and scored first goal, no reason not to give our own a chance at our level. So there we are that's me with me rose tinters on, never take them off! think with full preseason with GC, clear out of disruptive influences, alluded to by excellent Rodman article in Post, and by GC when he took over, we will surprise a lot of people next season, of course nothing less than winning title by 10 points will do for some , but I will be more than happy with comfortable top 10 finish, decent cup run and a young un or two breaking through, up the Rovers!! I hope you are right about Reilly, every shot I've seen taken with his feet has been a side footer which to me doesn't scream 15 goals a season. If he isn't capable of putting his laces through the ball for a bit of power I just can't see it happening.

Got a nasty feeling he will actually. Hope not. Get him signed up Wael!!! Just a hunch and seems a good fit. Stevenage where he is originally from is not far from Peterborough. Peterborough have just put Aaron Chapman (another ex Rovers keeper) on the transfer list. They'll offer better money than us and where they are as a club probably fits in with where Jack Bonham is in his career right now. If this is the case and we managed to sign Chapman then I wouldn't be too displeased.

Looking specifically at Home form this season...
GC - 4 wins, 4 loses, 4 draws. DC - 2 wins, 7 loses, 2 draws.
based on an exact repeat we can hope for a few happier Saturday evenings next season.

Reduced attendance does mean personal space on the terraces that's the only personal positive I do like stats, and obviously it doesn't factor everything but... I count in 25 league games under GC we have 9(36%) wins, 6(24%) loses & 10(40%) draws. Drag that split percentage out across a season of 46 games we'd be looking at 17 wins, 11 loses & 18 draws. 69 points in total which equates to a finish of about 8th. And just because I have the data...DC's league one performance being; 113 games - 38(33.63%) wins, 47(41.59%) loses, 28(24.78%) draws, total points 162.

Smith 6 couple of good saves, but thankfully not a lot to do.
J. Clarke 7 Lockyer 7 Glad to see a high line finally. Craig 7 Kelly 7
Rodman 7 didn't do a lot in midfield, but glad he found the net. O. Clarke 7 Upson 7 Ogogo 7 was surprised to see him subbed. Sercombe 7
Jakubiak 6 would of liked to of seen him putting a little more pressure on the defence/keeper Barnsley were a bit shakey at the back.
Subs: Reilly 5 Lines 7 miss having someone driving the midfield! Kilgour NOLE
Crowd 7 Ref 7 Barnsley 6

I think the most frustrating thing about this season (IMO), is the players are more than capable to do well in this league, each one on their day are very good league one players, some even championship standard, but time and time again this season especially in front of a home crowd they have not performed or shown the raw desire to want to do well.

J. Clarke 5 Lockyer 5 Craig 5 Holmes-Dennis 5
Rodman 5 Upson 5 O. Clarke 5.5 Sercombe 5.5
Nichols 5 Clarke-Harris 5
Subs: Jakubiak 5 Reilly NOLE
Crowd 5 Ref 3 Rochdale 5
I thought as a team we played better than we did against Bradford, but still inviting pressure, slow on the ball, and not enough fight/heart. The team that wanted to win, won.
