I left early once in about 2007 when we were losing 2-0 at Huish park. By the time I got to the car we'd won 2-3. Never again. My old man took me to rovers millwall about 1984 roughly, one of my first memories of watching rovers., we were losing with a Few minutes to go and he said "come on son you won't learn anything here it's rubbish".. We scored 2 very late goals, and we actually watched the goals together on YouTube last year some time..

So the stats suggest that we can have another beer at 2:55pm? We did Saturday, got there late saying we are only any good in the second half anyway, then the tursntiles were closed 😩, but we managed to get in eventually, late goals again lucky for us..

Might be on my own here but I thought Ellis Harrison's winner was the best part of the day. Ditto

anyone else remember jock getting elbowed really hard in the nose by dean Saunders against Liverpool fa cup 91.... perfect example of professionalism, ref didn't see it so jock got up, shook it off, and played a blinder.... Remember it well, We were chatting about it on a recent thread can't remember which one though..

Bobby Gould before Williams I believe. That sounds about right because I can remember my old man slagging him off because he was all about the loyalty apparently and then f'd off to coventry I think with aone of our players, Nicky Platneur maybe? I could be totally wrong with all of that as I was only a wee young 'un back then. I can remember Gould being in charge for a bit out at Twerton though. You ain't far wrong with any of that. And my old man used to slate him off too at eastville and twerton..

Been watching since whoever was in charge before David Williams was player/manager at Eastville, Williams is the first one I can remember however and I would say that DC is the best manager we've had in my lifetime with Gerry a close 2nd but hopefully DC has got a few more years with us yet to go on and create a real legacy. Bobby Gould before Williams I believe.

I can't understand how he can says he inherited a mess, very odd comment, you inherit a mess if it's at club level and you only have x amount of players to choose from ie: darryl Clarke taking over from jon ward or something similar.. He has the whole country to pick from but decides to blame the previous manager. He did not have to pick them players... Maybe I'm wrong but this was my initial thoughts after hearing southgates views.. I agree to be honest. It seems rather negative and feels like he is doing a Mr Buckle on us (lowering our expectations). I watched England, V Slovakia., or whoever it was . Slovenia maybe. Unsure.. That was the worst ive seen....

Perhaps DC tells the parent club " we would like this player as we need someone decent in his position but he will have to fight for his place like every other squad member" parent club says sounds fair enough. Just a thought like.. 😳 Good point and it may knock some of the 'attitude' out of the rising stars and they can see how the other half live,so to speak. Correct, so if they are the next frank lampard they'll be getting and keeping they're place pretty soon I would imagine.. It is what it is really,

I also think Christian McLean sort of slid in with his long leg for a tap in, great season missed very few games..
