Derby, but Reading were very good. TBF, yes Reading were, quick and entertaining, everything we’d like to be but aren’t.

Hopefully the last we see of him, his blatant cheating, rolling around the floor, screaming like a baby when kicked, wins the free kick and up he trots. Not a good role model. Plus it’s another pre season to get through, time for him to go get a pay cheque somewhere else as he slows the game down so much.

Typical of the kind of goal he scored for us before he lost interest and started pretending he couldn't hit a barn door..... Bit harsh, good luck to him.

Well done to your friends for standing up to the twats . Stewarding needs improving if they didn’t throw them out . Maybe take it higher up the food chain ? Yes, absolutely. It is totally embarrassing. However I very much doubt the club will take any action that's effective I reported the IRA song yet again today, they offered the Police to contact me in the week, I refused, now a Club Offical will contact me as they aren’t apparently aware of the said song.

Some harsh comments. Thought we deserved a point tbh. Considering we were playing without a striker against a team who was chasing automatic promotion on the penultimate day, I thought we did ok - especially second half. What were people expecting I was expecting some challenges to be put in, someone to run at a defender, maybe a shot or two, just a damp squib like the whole season. We shouldn’t go into a game with no striker, we had a January window to pick someone up. I just have too high expectations these days and should lower them! Sorry Gassy, just totally disappointed and flat tonight.

Will someone please tell Brown that we have kicked off. In 59 years of watching. I have never seen a player look so disinterested and bone idle. I’ll raise you Justin Channing.

Excited for today. Early train. Glos Road pub crawl before and after and hopefully a decent performance sandwiched between. Going for 2-2 with Thomas and Martin goals but would love a Marshy and to hit 60 points ahead of the final game. Decent atmosphere would be nice too. Oh when the gas….. Same Percy, seems an age since a Saturday home game with the trains running, looking forward to a good day out with the boy. Maybe even see another goal scored (Please)

Very interested to see how he performs tomorrow. He obviously had an impact the past two games but it was Cheltenham and Cambridge to be fair. I'm very skeptical about giving him a new deal unless it financially benefits the club. TBF it needs to work both ways. Let’s be honest he’s done more than that useless camel James Wilson in 110 minutes as opposed to his season.

We’re always quick to criticise referees but I’d like to call out last nights referee - best I’ve seen at the Mem this season. Let some challenges go that looked borderline but he was consistent with both teams and read a lot of the play acting, mostly by Cambridge. Best example was when a Cambridge player went down (no foul) and then held his head to get the game stopped when clearly his head was not impacted. Even he though suffered two things that won’t go away it seems: 1) as soon as there is an injury around 20 mins everyone goes to the touchline for a mass coaching brief. 2) worse, as per their keeper last night we saw again a bad case of no reason injury to break up our momentum knowing that keepers do to go off after treatment. Anyway well done Mr Middleton I’d be happy to see you again. Yep agreed, let the game flow, also the Linesman on the East Terrace done well, bar a few dubious offsides, some in our favour. They will probably both get demoted now.

It's a funny game. I thought Ward had a good game, Hoole struggled and Rossiter was desperate for HT after about 15 minutes. I agree about Evans and Thomas who was definitely MOTM Thing is about Rossiter is, he plays on the front foot, he wins the ball and plays it forward quickly. Conteh hasn't quite got that in his game yet. We definitely lost our forward momentum when Rossiter went off. You can also see Rossiter constantly talking, organising and encouraging, his influence in massive. If fit Captain material, he didn’t stop talking in that First Half, encouraging people, and having the ability to play quick neat accurate balls.

Vaughan and Connolly coming on …. Mama Mia ! Take off our best striking option and strongest defender … Ok ! Quite bemusing, guess we’re playing for the nil.

It's easy to say let's get rid of pretty much everyone as we can do better but the reality is this isn't football manager and recruiting a completely new squad in a single window isn't feasible. If as has been reported the playing budget is likely to be reduced then keeping players like Hoole & Gordon who aren't likely to be big earners & also have the potential to improve makes absolute sense. Both of them have rarely been injured which is another consideration after the season we've had. I'm probably contradicting myself but although Rossiter has missed so much football I think he makes such a difference he's worth the gamble. Obviously budget will play a big part in who we keep and what we can offer but a fit Rossiter wouldn't be at Rovers, I'd make an exception in his case If Hoole and Gordon have the potential to improve why have neither improved in the last couple of seasons? The fact they were both dropped and we score and win our first game for weeks surely suggests neither is up to L1 football, and I doubt they ever will be, if we do release them you can virtually guarantee they won't get contract offers from any other clubs in L1. I think Lewis has improved, he’s a consistent 6.5 player, if he ups his game slightly he’d be really good, problem is what he has he had infront of him all season. I think he’s the least of our worries.

I've always been impressed with Hoole. Every game I've seen him he's been one of the top performers. Don't get all the scepticism around him, I think he has real potential. You must be watching different games than me then, he's an average defender, and worse than Leadbetter when going forward, this season in particular I can't recall him putting one decent cross into the box. I thought the last couple of home games he’s looked more than ok, got forward and found space, rather him than Hunt.
