😂😂😂😂🇬🇧 Nutters ! MP suspended after endorsing Reform UK candidate The Conservative Party says MP Lucy Allan has been suspended for backing a Reform UK candidate. Ms Allan insists that she quit the party in order to support Reform UK candidate Alan Adams in the seat she is vacating. She publicly gave her support to Mr Adams rather than Tory Hannah Campbell in Telford, Shropshire. A Conservative Party spokesman said she had been suspended "with immediate effect" while the prime minister said a vote for Reform would "put Keir Starmer in power". Mr Adams would offer an alternative to "more of the same politics and more of the same politicians", Ms Allan said. She won Telford in 2019 with a majority of 10,941 but in 2017 the Conservatives won by 720 votes - and she first won the seat in 2015 with a majority of 730. The MP stated that she had known Mr Adams for many years and that the Royal Navy veteran "is genuinely the best person for the job". Ms Allan said: "I want the best for Telford and I can't just let the Labour candidate have a walkover." Asked about Ms Allan's revolt, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said "when it comes to Reform, I understand people's frustrations". But he added a vote for other parties "particularly Reform, all that is going to do is put Keir Starmer in power". Ms Allan added about Mr Adams that he was "not in it for personal advantage, power, or control over people" and his motivation for standing "is profoundly honourable". She said: "Alan gives Telford a choice, so that Telford does not have to settle for more of the same politics and more of the same politicians." The Tory spokesman said, following Ms Allan's suspension, "the people of Telford now have the chance to vote for a dedicated and hard-working new candidate who will put Telford first". Veterans minister Johnny Mercer said it was "very sad" to see Ms Allan supporting the Reform candidate. “I like Lucy but any broad political organisation like the Conservatives trying to get through the incredibly turbulent time of the last 7 or 8 years…are gonna have the edges where people don't agree and that is fine," he added. A Reform spokesman said the party was "absolutely delighted" Ms Allan was backing their candidate. "She, like many Conservatives, feels that the Reform party represents traditional centre-right values and priorities in a way that the Conservative Party has long forgotten," they added. "Conservatives trying to get through the incredibly turbulent time of the last 7 or 8 years" When did this start? 🤔 🇪🇺 🥾 🇬🇧

Wouldn’t wanted to have been Pirate’s mum and dad at Christmas time, handing in his wish list for 4784 presents

Should there be a minimum qualification for being a politician, or maybe a minister? Yes , a brain cell.

Including gift aid, the wrong shirt raised over £1,250. Many thanks to those who donated and helped spread the word. Well done Dave 👏

We all know this detail.. perhaps you could enter civilised debate as a standard without patronising and trying to be the smartest person in the room, which has just done the opposite effect. How bias can one be to think mandatory military is a good idea? Or what’s the alternative to being sent away for a year? Free “voluntary” Labour to make up for all the cut backs we’ve made in the last 14 years to our services. So tell me, what are your thoughts on this policy? Apologies for pointing this out again but the proposal is not for mandatory military service. My thoughts are that 80+ countries actually have a similar policy in place (including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Singapore, France, Estonia, Lithuania) and others are considering something similar (like Germany). Yes, I was being patronising (again) - only because so often people in here so often jump to the wrong conclusions yet post their opinions as absolute fact, despite the actual facts of the topic being widely available with a quick search of the news... Like you with Rayner being guilty? 🙄😂

It's these small things that stings the most. Just gone through The Channel tunnel earlier today , bloke working there said from October it’s going to be absolute carnage. His advice was only use the trains between 11pm and 5am ….. or it’ll be a *very* long wait . Marvellous! 🇬🇧

Only 2 out of 10 labour MPs who backed lexit are left …. John Cryer & Graham Stringer . Let’s see how things unfold for the loony party….. I see Corbyn is standing as an Independent, he could get it too. Won't affect the final results. Greens too hoping to get more and expected to get the new Bristol Central, their co leader is a Bristol girl. Don’t know the numbers for Corbyn but I’ve got a feeling he’ll lose to the Labour candidate

You’d have thought with a name like Rovers we’d at least be more attractive to dogs than Rotherham! Presumably lots of Scunthorpe players are attracted to Bristol City. Too subtle for most 😉👍

Are there going to be ANY Brexit MP’s left in the next parliament? All the rats are fleeing 🐀 🇬🇧 Still too many and hold too much sway over what may be a rump Conservative Party. Is there a convenient list of majorities? Be interesting to see who is likely to be left come 5 July. Only 2 out of 10 labour MPs who backed lexit are left …. John Cryer & Graham Stringer . Interesting that over have of the low bracket and over 50 would vote Conservative or Reform. Similar to the Brexit referendum where the over 50s were decisive? The thick as sh** brigade will actively vote for a party and policies that are to their detriment. see Brexit for parallels 🙄🇬🇧

Disastrous start for Sunak and his party to this election. Good isn’t it ? 😂🤣 Ps hi France , Super , Eric , that farming sheep person 😜
