Wasn’t gashead1981 interested in being fans rep a few yrs ago ? Jim Chappell black balled me after I called him out for supporting Masters and the PC in the accusation that Wael was grooming children in his exec box as well as the other misinformation that used to spew from that little clique. I've not got the time or inclination to get involved again now. Probably the worst thing you could ever accuse someone of doing . Far worse than the JB stuff whilst he was here.

Things like water , gas , electricity etc should never of been privatised. Anyway ….. we still need to tax the top 5% much more. That won't solve the underlying issues of low investment and poor productivity, until we see a considerable improvement in those areas our standard of living will continue to stagnate. This bloke explains it better than I ever could….

Jim Ratcliffe after a new national stadium and lower taxes on oil and gas also sees Brexit problems. "While insisting his petrochemicals conglomerate INEOS is apolitical, Sir Jim backed Brexit and spent last weekend with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer at Manchester United - the football club he now runs as minority owner. Billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has told Sky News that Britain is ready for a change of government after scolding the Conservatives over their handling of the economy and immigration after Brexit. While insisting his petrochemicals conglomerate INEOS is apolitical, Sir Jim backed Brexit and spent last weekend with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer at Manchester United - the football club he now runs as minority owner. "I'm sure Keir will do a very good job at running the country - I have no questions about that," Sir Jim said in an exclusive interview. "There's no question that the Conservatives have had a good run," he added. "I think most of the country probably feels it's time for a change. And I sort of get that, really." Sir Jim was a prominent backer of leaving the European Union in the 2016 referendum but now has issues with how Brexit was delivered by Tory prime ministers. "Brexit sort of unfortunately didn't turn out as people anticipated because… Brexit was largely about immigration," Sir Jim said." news.sky.com/story/sir-jim-ratcliffe-scolds-tories-over-handling-of-economy-and-immigration-after-brexit-13139088Ooh look , another loon who thinks we did the wrong sort of Brexit. Theyll never admit they were wrong. Brexit always was and always will be a mind numbingly stupid thing to do. 🇬🇧🙄

Personally I think crude taxes on income are no longer fit for purpose, never really were. We need to work out a system of income distribution that does not create extreme wealth and unacceptable levels of deprivation. A Universal Basic Income would be a start, alongside a provision of publice services which we all rely upon. Yes , of course you are right. A fundamental shake up is needed . Big advocate of basic income which will be more needed as AI takes peoples jobs . This will lead to yet more inequality as the rich get richer and the poor left to fester.

I’ve always thought of capitalism as a big game of monopoly, if you imagine we’re all just playing a game UK wide or even globally. We move around the board but eventually we land on Mayfair / Park lane etc and have to pay the big guys . After a while we end up skint and they take our property. This is playing out in real life . Well we could just nationalise everything including private housing and personal assets and let the State hand it out. Things like water , gas , electricity etc should never of been privatised. Anyway ….. we still need to tax the top 5% much more.

Really feel sorry for Collins , those last few months of completely inept and lifeless performances for us only to secure himself a big money move and no doubt a hefty pay rise ……. All to end up having to come back to the Mem again next season. 😂 I dont feel sorry for him you reap the seeds that you sow Whoosh

It seems we can only dream of an owner with the pedigree like Oxford have too. Wycombe will be next with their new owners, although they have already had a crack at the Championship recently anyway. The underachievement of this club is tragic. Yawn 🥱 Exactly 🙄 WTF can we do as fans as in to what owners we have and how good they are ? Tediously boring moaning on this forum that we can do F… all about . Bore off

Not what was promised. "A Cornish fisherman who voted for Brexit said the fleet had been "sold down the river" because foreign boats were still fishing near the coast. Cornish MP Steve Double raised the issue in parliament this week saying the under-10m (33ft) fleet was "sadly in decline" and had been losing more than 100 vessels each year. The former director of the New Under Ten Fishermen’s Association (NUTFA), which disbanded last month, said foreign-owned boats just "scoop up all the fish" in the area six to 12 miles from the coast." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c103ldej4qvoGood ol’ Boris ! 🇬🇧

First point …. Fair play ! lol The second point , I couldn’t give a fig how much money anyone has got as long as they pair a fair rate of tax . When you look at the likes of Sunak and his wife and the way they circumnavigate the tax system to get away with paying a lower percentage than your average citizen it’s wrong . Amazon getting away with paying next to nothing is wrong. Tax system needs a complete shakeup. What I have never understood is why if you are the Sunaks do you need more money surely they have more than sufficient? So why make yourself a target by avoiding paying your fair share of tax just because you can, they are not breaking any laws it's just makes me feel uncomfortable. Agree completely Clive , you could add in nearly all billionaires globally. They’ve all got more money than they could ever spend in their and their kids / grandkids lifetimes yet they still want more , still try and avoid paying taxes. When I made my tenth million I decided that was enough as I’m not greedy.
