We are in League 1. So clubs in League 2 and a not in League 1 are run worse or similar to us. Since Wael came in, we have spent 1 season in League 2. The rest of the time we have been in League 1. Compare that with the same period before he came in. So as I said, we could do better, but we could do a not worse and we are probably doing as we should be! You can see the long term plans. Improve the stadium, training facilities, bring in young players to develop. Higgs was so desperate to sign a bad deal to try and get a stadium, everything else was neglected. Even simple things like a better club shop, newer facilities in the toilets, better bar areas etc are taken for granted. None of that was even looked at under Higgs. To say they were similar is rubbish, just because Higgs signed a bad deal. Wael could have agreed to those terms. But you would soon be moaning about that, if we were losing money😂We are... We've posted record losses for three out of the seven seasons he owned the club. Because he's spent more😂. If he wasn't spending, you would be moaning then. It's only an issue if they walk away and want the money back. Same at nearly every club!

Other clubs like Wigan and Reading??? You've mentioned 2 out of the 120+ professional clubs in the UK that are run worse than us. We are in League 1. So clubs in League 2 and a not in League 1 are run worse or similar to us. Since Wael came in, we have spent 1 season in League 2. The rest of the time we have been in League 1. Anyone can sign a bad deal. Higgs also took us to non league and Wael hasn't. They're both rubbish. I look at other clubs, we've stank out the place this century. Other clubs like Wigan and Reading???

.... and he achieved something which Higgs didn't. Higgs brokered a deal for a stadium site, something WAQ didn't. 1-1 Anyone can sign a bad deal. Higgs also took us to non league and Wael hasn't.

Such as? I don't really understand why there is such hatred of him and TG on a personal level. Disagreeing on and critiquing what they do is one thing, but it's crossing a line for me. They're both useless. Christ, they released a video for a new stadium that they had no plans for, no agreement on, nothing. They're both beyond parody at this point. Absolute bozos. Things could be better, but they could also be worse. It's not just the South stand. We have better training facilities and are looking to improve them further, the budget is bigger than it used to be and we have comfortably stayed up in league 1 for two seasons. Look at where we were the years ago!

Surely it can’t be long until we get to see the plans ? I’m sure we were told it was a couple of weeks away and that was about 3 weeks ago ! 😂 We could def do with hearing a bit of good news after what seems like many weeks of misery. I think he said the plans would be finished then, but they wouldn't show fans. They said they would take them to the council and relevant people and make amendments before showing them. So I didn't think we will see anything soon.

Just reading about Birmingham City's new stadium, the overall cost is £2B/£3B and they hope to be playing their in 5 years time, what's the betting our refurbished East Stand takes just as long and costs 10p in comparison. I wonder if they still think they need a 62,000 seater stadium, now they are in League 1 😂.

This time of the year is one of the most boring for us fans. Nothing will really get going on the transfer front for at least a month and most rumours will be far off the mark. At least we will have the Euro's this year. I keep thinking I will try not to think about Rovers for now, as we know it's going to be quiet. But then I still check this site and others about ten times a day😂

He wouldn't be here this time next year if we were in a relegation battle. So that's the first rumor that is rubbish. There will be plenty of rubbish rumors over the summer😂 Why would he not be here? He would be sacked if we are near the bottom way before then, like any manager would at the majority of clubs. Hopefully he will still be here, as that will mean we are doing okay. But there is no way he would be here this time next year if we were relegated.

I think the only players we have been linked with are the ex Exeter players. I expect a lot of players are waiting to see what happens in the play offs and stuff at the moment.

With our catchment area and potential fanbase in one of the biggest cities in England, we should always be a target of people looking to get involved in owning a club. Our options were obviously limited last time around with Wael wanting to stay involved. He mentioned turning down several interested parties before the Al Saeeds got involved, I wonder who they were? I read about this earlier. It will be interesting to see what happens. We all know not all owners do what I'm they say. Certainly getting harder all the time.

Antony is a tremendous player "as we sing he's Joey Bartons man" Joey brought both Antony and Jordi to the club, both imo should be playing in at least the Championship; Rovers have never been able to convince one player to stay and ply his trade at the club, I would be pleasantly surprised if monotone can convince our current pair of players of any note that they should stay long term at Camp MEM. Finally all those Joey haters have got what they wanted, a Joey free zone; I just hope all those who have been saying "we've got our Rovers back" are happy with their new hand of cards, and we can now all, as always, move on bouncing along the bottom of division 1. UTG When any manager makes that many signings, some will be good and some will be bad. He also tied up a lot of the budget on players on championship wages that hardly played. Friend, Hunt, Ward etc. But you're not going to mention that. He's gone, stop crying and get behind the current manager. If he fails he will go, but until then we should support him.

To think a year ago a lot of fans were saying he wasn't good enough for League 1. He kicked on again last season though.

You should only to print it or take a photo of the card once. Most library's will help someone print something. Do you not know anyone, that can print something as a one off?? In today's society a lot of things are going digital only. I've bought tickets for a lot of events, that have been digital only. A lot of loyalty cards are going to digital only etc. Even taking the kids out for the day, you have to book in advance a lot of the time and show an email me. Fans moan that we don't get with the times. But when they do anything to move with the times, people moan then as well. Tesco, Morrisons etc all continue to give their customers the option of a physical membership card, I wonder why? Because if they don’t they will push customers away, we all know a fully digital world is coming but it needs to be done organically and with respect for those who will struggle with it. Any decent company would see that, it’s why cash is still accepted widely. We should empathise with those who have difficulty with these type of things, not brush them aside 👍🏾 I agree, but they also charge to have a physical card, even if they say they don't!! You get app exclusive offers, that you only get on your SMART device. I save more than £15 a year. So if I just used my physical card, I would be more than £15 a year worse off. Maybe we should have charged everyone £15 more and then gave everyone £15 credit to spend at the club, if they opted out of a physical card. You will never keep everyone happy though.

Hopefully the Conteh signing wasn't a one off and we won't be afraid to pay fees for young players with potential. If they are young, then the wage budget won't be too high. I know the initial out lay would be higher, but if we develop just a few of them and make a big profit it would hopefully be enough to cover the fees in the long run. We tried to break our transfer record on Ennis, if the rumors were true. Will we break it this summer, or just look at free players. Free players aren't necessary cheaper in the long run. The summer will tell us more about the new owners. First summer transfer window. No excuses of we will get better value in the next window! I agreed with what we were told in January, but will they back it up now! From my understanding, unless we receive a big offer for one of our players, there is unlikely to be big fees spent and we are working on a reduced budget. I was told we had to cut the budget in January and we have to cut it now. But we would pay transfer fees for the right players at the right price. I was told the Collins money, would be reinvested. That was a few months ago though.
